...each time you turn around to look at the clock and sigh."
~*~ I got introduced to
deleterius recently. Yay Mary Sues! I went through their memories, and I found the author freakouts much, much more entertaining than the actual sporks. Aww Sally is a Bad Person who loves flame wars, especially when one side of said flame war obviously has less maturity and...um...intellectual capabilities. It's amusing to me when people are trying to defend themselves and/or attack others with netspeak and horrible spelling. Yeah, Sally = very, very Bad Person.
~*~ Chris Boesch (outsourcing whore!) is back from contributing to Michael Dell's outsourcing whoriness...uh I mean, back from India. Yay globalization! Hmm I might start going to that class again then. Doom while he was gone, I skipped 2 out of 4 classes within 2 weeks. That's pretty bad, at least for me. Then again, because Boesch was gone, and because we're back to learning about "omgz you need to communicate with customers", class attendance on any given day has dwindled down to something like 30%, with half of those people not paying any attention and playing Warcraft on their laptops. Aww I almost feel sorry for Barber. Oh wellz, Sally = conformist.
~*~ I've been abandoned again. Yay orphans! My Mom left this morning for Taiwan. I think. Actually, now that I think about it, I'm not completely sure where she went. Dooooom, I probably should find out. Anywayz, I'm just happy that I did not have to drive her to the airport at 5 a.m. this morning; she got someone else to do it. Mi madre has bitches at her beck and call. ;) Other than moi, that is. :(
~*~ So yeah, SiLabs hired me. Yay internships! The salary is very sweet, so I guess my jumping through hoops and my crying after the interview and my ordering a sandwich at Quizno's all paid off. That's hot. Except it's kind of awkward. Because I have since found out that the person I'm going to be reporting to used to be a pretty close colleague of my Dad's. I hope he did not "recognize" me based on my name or address or whatever my Dad told him about me. And I hope to God that if he did, it didn't influence his hiring decisions. Meh, Sally = paranoid.
~*~ The results for my blood test came back last week. Yay...are you kidding? Nothing about blood tests are yay. :p Apparently, my stomach inflammation was caused by bacteria, so now, I've been taking a whole new set of anti-bacterial drugs. Doooom they are scary - eight pills per day. When I went to pick up my prescription, the pharmacist bypassed all the regular prescription bags and got this huge bag for me. It kind of freaked me out a little at the time. Yeah, that's not very hot.
