Honor, Tradition, Discipline...

...can all be rendered fluffy by the love of a good man, or so goes the lesson of Mohabbatein.

I finally saw Mobat yesterday with Kim and Nelly, and wow, it was one huge cliched cheesefest. I thought I've seen some fluffy/cheesy/melodramatic/cliched things in my life, but nothing comes even close to this. Heh at least it was entertaining.

This part was priceless: "Do you know why I came back? I came back for you, because I had faith that beneath your cold exterior, you have a loving heart. I wanted to show you love, and I believed that by making you see love, I could bring you happiness." ~ It was one of the very few semi-well-done angsty dramatic scenes, and our slashy, guttery minds completely ruined the moment. *sigh*

And Shahrukh Khan, I absolutely adore you. I do. However, the gods intended sweaters to be worn, ya know, with arms through the sleeves and stuff, so please, for Brahma's sake, do that! Leave the sweater-draping-over-shoulders business to rich snotty housewives.

In other news, I will be leaving tomorrow morning for the Motherland. I don't know how often I'll be online for the next six weeks; it will depend on my willingness to deal with obscenely slow internet connections. So for now: So long. Farewell. Auf Wiedersehen. Adieu.

*does the Mobat elbow thing at everyone*
