So, apparently, according to rumors, Rahm Emanuel got offered Chief of Staff. Um...okay, that's...different. Seriously, Barry? Seriously? He vocally opposed Howard Dean's 50 state strategy and probably yours as well, he would laugh "change we can believe in" out of the room, he made part of his fortune in freaking investment banking, and I say this as one of about 3 people who actually <3 Rahm Emanuel. Is this A)CHICAGO STYLE politics, B)Barry loving teh male ballet dancers as much as I do, or C)a continuing dedication to playing out the last two seasons of The West Wing in real life?
In other news, Al Franken is 600 votes and a recount away from becoming a Senator! Lulz.
Update: Haha screw what I said before. Now that Rahm Emanuel has accepted, I'm actually all giddy and excited. This will be FUN. You're still my favorite Democrat, Rahm!
Update 2: Oh MSNBC lied. He hadn't accepted. :( But haha, can you imagine him and Obama together? Rahm will be ranting and screaming and cussing up a storm and stabbing the table with a steak knife, and Obama will look on calmly, shaking his head ~*with dignity*~.
