UPDATES...
Things have been nuts, here are the summaries:
The Kitty:
Milo is doing great! The first birthdate he was given turned out to be wrong, he is much younger than we originally though and is just now turning about 4 weeks old, and we've had him for almost 3 weeks.... sure explains alot. He has started to eat a mixture of formula and baby food, although it is still from a bottle and still every few hours (now its about every 4-5 hours though). Sleep is a luxury done in 4 or 5 hour intervals, depending on how long he lets me sleep. He come to work with me, and I block off the area behind my desk so he can play. He finally started walking last week! He has now moved on to hopping and is starting to try to pounce things. He is all little boy, and a clumsy one at that. He has NO grace at all... its pretty funny, he still loses his balance alot, but he is persistant. Milo finally has teeth and his little claws have grown in. His eyes have not changed color and are still a beautiful blue/grey, but now he can see whats going on. He knows I'm "Momma" and rarely ventures too far away from me. I really have grown quite attached to the little bugger..... don't know what Im gonna do when he gets bigger and I cant take him with me everywhere....
The Job:
Still no official contract or set salary... grrrrr..... I will be offered my posisiotn though, so at least I know that. It's just working out the kinks. The political climate there is becomeing intolerable with the upcoming board elections.... so stupid. Working for a non-profit sucks in that way. Whatever.
The Hubby:
Well, next Wednesday is "D-Day" for his job. The assholes will let him know then if he still has a job or not. I HATE THEM!! He has worked for the same company for 13 years and they treat him like shit. I wish he would quit and do something else, but my controlling self can't make him ( which is driving me nuts). Whats worse is that our financial situation is in the negative numbers currently... we spent all week bouncing checks.....
I don't know where the light at the end of the tunnel is... I think it may have burned out.... anyone know how to change it?
