Another Day in the Life of Cody ...

Ok, I'll be the first to say that today was pretty mellow. I wanted to get up at 5:15 to take a shower and finish up some math homework. Ha! Did I? Uh ... NO! I hit the snooze button and I set my cell phone alarm for 6:45. I crawled out of bed, put some clothes on, brused my teeth, packed my bag, went to breakfast, then went to class. First up, Criminal Justice. Wee. We took more notes about more types of crime. This class is actually pretty interesting. We're also a few days behind, actually a week (which is a few, so no worries), so that means that either we get to skip something or we get to rush through something. I don't know which is better. After CJ was English. We did peer reviews for our essays. See, you would think that with this being college, people could actually write. But who am I fooling? There were people there that were just, well, horrible! Our teacher gave us ten minutes to work on each others' papers, but see, after ten minutes, I am only on the second page of a five page paper making all kinds of marks on it! After English, I went back to my apartment and took care of some things. Hee hee ... I turned on Comdey Central and watched a comedian by the name of Russell Peters - A pretty funny guy. He's of Indian (the country) decent and he dogs about a lot of the ways Americans treat immigrants, especially racism. Why wasn't anyone racist towards the Smurfs? Come on, they were blue for crying out loud! They were short, they were ugly, they only had one woman, so no wonder they were blue! So, after my break, I went back to class. Probably the most fun, yet most boring class I have this semester - SAM 136. To me, the class is beneficial in a sense that it adapts us to college life, but it's so slow. We have a test on Thursday, so we got a practice test to do on our own. I found out that maybe, just maybe, I should start reading that book! We covered four chapters in it and I didn't even notice! Oops! So our little group had a study session at 7:00 this evening and we went over that review. We are pretty good with it now. Now that leads me to here. I am talking to Sally, like I do every night without failure, and I am taking care of some things around the house. So I am going to call this an entry and help Sally study for her test tomorrow, or I'll do the best I can!
