28. Which two characters who haven't interacted in canon would you like to have meet, and how would it go?
It's surprising how few 'twosomes' there are, y'know; in the small and rather insular cultivation society most of the characters I like have either definitely met or given what we know they must have...
But actually, this one is pretty easy for me.

Nie Mingjue and Wen Qing. Sure those little things like the murder of his father by her Sect Leader, his violent and visceral hatred of all Wens and his support for or at least condoning of/ignoring the extermination of them all, his qi deviation/increasingly murderous madness, the fact that they both died horribly... yeah it all might make arranging interactions that don't end quickly and very nastily both tricky and a tad awkward.
But I do think they would be so good together. She may be small but she is not intimidated by anyone and anything, she can yell back at him with the best of them (which in his not-mad moments he'd probably appreciate) and being a doctor there must be some plotdevicium she knows to fix his qi deviation/increasingly murderous madness if he'd let her. He definitely could protect her family for her in return. And they could bond over the difficulties of managing/protecting impossible but cherished little brothers.
And look at them both, wouldn't they be beautiful as a couple, as allies or just as not-admitting-for-one-minute-they're-friends?
