"At the other end of the world..."
I've been listening to the audiobook version of Terry Pratchett's Nation again. All I can say is, I'm just as in love with that book as I was when I first read it. Nation just appeals to me in pretty much all possible ways.
...Sometimes I wish there was some kind of Internet fandom for it. All I've been able to find are book reviews, a couple of fanarts, pretty much no fic, and random mentions or short forum threads here and there. Maybe I'll just have to deal with the fact that while the book has pretty much every possible thing in it that could appeal to me, these appeals vary from people to people, and others don't find it special the way I do.
I've been doing random housework at my mother's home, and am apparently getting a summer job for a couple of weeks after all.
Trying to shake myself out of not doing anything I really want to do.
