JENNY!!! Oh. MY. Goodness.
That concert was the best I’ve ever seen JEW live, even though I’ve only seen them twice. It was BRILLIANT, and such a fun night. I called kevin to get your # to try and call you so we could meet up! but I couldn’t get your number….
ANYWAY. So holy shit. Julia and i were on the floor and we ere right up front! And there were these stupid people who thought it would be fun to mosh at a jimmy eat world concert (what the fuck its jimmy eat world. They aren’t rock.) and everytime they would started hitting people, this immensely tall and fit guy standing next to me the whole time would put one arm around my back and push everyone out of my way, and a couple behind us were doing the same to Julia. They were afraid we were gonna get trampled. And THEN GUESS WHAT?
When they started playing “23”, he PUT ME UP ON HIS SHOULDERS!!!! Only at the beginning of the song because then people started thrashing around again (bloody idiots) but when I turned around to the back of the arena (because I was at he very front), I was the only person on anyones shoulders out of like 13,000 people. And when I looked forward again the band was looking at me and Jim Adkins smiled and so I started singing along and it was just amazing. and I felt so tall. And I didn’t even know this guy!!!! But it was JUST SO FUCKING AWESOME.
So yeah I wish ida seen you, I saw my friends Geoff and Nick and Abrielle but no, not you guys. Oh well. hopefully I can see you soon! Glad you had fun too
me and julia also got to take pics with the bassist, Rick, because we recognized him and julia, smart as she is, identified him and we asked to take photos. and he was just walking around downstairs and NO ONE rcognized him. it was scary. such "authentic fans".
and we got tom's autograph and a picture with zach after the concert. which was cool.
lol im glad you had fun too! that wouldve been really cool if i had gotten to see you guys, since i havnt seen you and julia in a loooong ass time, and your soo lcuky , you got to take pictures! that so cool. well i hope to see you again someday. ~lots of love jenny
but ROBYN'S PARENTS made us leave RIGHT BEFORE jim adkins came out to sign autographs. dammit. HE IS MY LOVE. i will never forgive robyn completely for that. i was SO PISSED. but, yeas, we did have fun, and yes, the bassist is attractive, and yes, i will eventually post the pics.
