Lol, Memorieeeeeeeees!
Allison just sent me this pic of me at my sophomore year art show (2001), parked next to my artwork, including the portrait of Stacey Teed that I love, and my first ever art award for "drawing in color". :)
A couple of things jumped out at me when looking at this pic.
1.) I look SO like my mother here.
2.) I'm 16 in this photo and I thought I was fat. I remember thinking that at this time. And I wasn't. I wish I'd known that then.
3.) God, I miss the crap out of Nipmuc art! That's the only thing I really truly miss about the place! The art room, the projects, the show, the community of us loony art geeks... *sigh*... fun times, eh comrades?
