today i walked to the post office and back. on my way i went to look at another apartment on craigslist, and decided i liked the outside enough to call about the inside. though i have an appointment to see it tomorrow, the man who answered the phone gave me an immediate bad feeling i.e. didn't sound professional, didn't sound friendly, didn't sound like he cared if the apartment was ever rented or not. i also have a feeling that the apartment it not going to be big enough, and that it has carpet. and i hate carpet. further, or farther, it's nearing the other side of the greensboro tracks, but all that really means to me is that i could walk to work. the selling point: it does have a porch and an itty bitty back patio. also, tiny stained glass windows.
