Happy Thanksgiving!!!
It is Thanksgiving. We will be enjoying our family meal at the one, the only....Golden Corral! I am not cooking. I am not cleaning! For that I'm Thankful! LOL
Other things I'm thankful for and in no particular order.
* God and Spirituality
* The Freedom to believe what I want and in whom I want
* My husband, Cody
* My boys, Ethan and Gavin
* My friends....both on-line and in real life
* My home...there are so many that don't have a safe place to live
* TV...all the good and bad that goes with it
* My extended family...as dysfunctional as they are
* Clothes
* The ARC thrift store...so I can find good deals and the money goes to help other people
* My vacuum cleaner
* My computer...
* My Tiger Scout den
* The Navy...for protecting us and for giving my husband a job that pays for everything that we have
* Smiles..that make a crappy day better
* Toys...they make my kids happy
* Food...it gives me pleasure and sustains me
* The ability to read and write.
* My health...sciatica aside, I'm doing okay
* My familiy's health...there are so many children that are not healthy
* Carpet...even though it gets stained up I still like the comfort of soft floors
* My bed
* Books
* The Library
* Texas Road House...my favorite restaurant
* Money...that we can buy what we need and lots of what we want.
* Animals
* Trees and Nature
* Rain
* The sunshine
My list could go on and on. I'm thankful to be alive and well. I miss my mama and know that my life can be over at any moment. I'm just so thankful to have lived as long as I have and to have had the pleasures that I do.
