Ignoring the usual brace of childlike insults, he replied, "You are a businessman, are you not? What is business intelligence worth to you?"

Seymour was more interested in learning what Kaiba would pay than he was in the money itself. It was news worth his time just to learn than money was the only kind of payment offered. That will change.

He propped his head upon one enormous hand and relaxed back onto the chaise. "This is a card that embodies strength and abundance in practice and potential, but - 'plodding', or perhaps 'pedestrian.' It indicates a relentless reductionist materiality, fruitful in its domain but without the genius to reach beyond that domain. Assuming it refers to your business interests, it indicates material success without innovation. If it touches on your person," Here his tone was disturbingly caressing. "You shall enjoy good health and comfort, but no experiences outside of those you are... already familiar with."

"Your 'healthy sons' are the fruits of your labors, Kaiba Seto. They shall be just like you in every way." Conservative, reactive, and predictable.

The brunet tilted his head, a slight smirk crossing his features. "And that is exactly what I expected to hear," he said, rising to his feet and readjusting his coat absently. "Though I had hoped you might throw in some sort of horrible death at the end. Those sorts of predictions are always much more fun to work with."

Without thinking Kaiba pulled his L337Pod out of his pocket and fiddled with it for a moment, before a soft chime sounded on both his and Seymour's. "For such information as that, I shouldn't pay you a thing," Kaiba said coolly, "but I am feeling generous today. The amount I transfered should be enough to buy yourself a shirt, at least."

"You lie, of course. But it is the nature of children to throw away truth and beauty; they cannot recognize either. You came here in order to be right about something, then you asked explicitly for lies, and it is clear now that nothing else would have satisfied you." Seymour smiled blandly.

"You are brittle, Kaiba. And -" He withdrew his L337POD and examined his balances. "Cheap, as well. I will enjoy causing problems for you; I no longer fear that you will be able to do anything about it."

The CEO went from slightly amused to angry in a heartbeat but the only visible sign was in the tightening of his hands and the tone of his voice. "It is not wise to threaten me, Mr. Guado," he said, putting his L337POD back in his pocket. "You think I would reveal my hand to you? You have no idea of what I am capable of."

It only took two long legged strides to reach the entrance to the tent, Kaiba rather eager to to leave the oppressive place. But he was never one to let things go without one final strike. "Honestly, I think I could do better fortune telling without thinking or believing in it," the brunet sneered before running his hands across the deck of cards at his hip. "Let's see. Two random cards...hn, of course my Blue Eyes. That would be me, no doubt," He said, flashing the dragon card then reaching to the deck again. "Now..as for you...just what I expected." The second card raised was a grotesque looking clown. "Saggi. My weakest monster, and perfectly made to be crushed. How fitting," Kaiba sneered.

He looked at the two cards together for a moment, before sliding them back easily in his deck holster. "Funny how one can interpret such things any way they want to. I'm sure you'll find some way to read that to put yourself at the advantage. Of course, that won't help you win," the brunet mused, before taking one last look at Saymour on his ridiculous chaise. "Good luck with your venture, sir. There are many many people here who are more easily duped than me. I'm sure you will do well." His last word was accompanied by a shake of his head as the CEO left. What a waste of time.
