"I make it a priority to be aware of the going on's around here; It comes in handy." She returned, tone level. To be uninformed could lead to mistakes, and she had already experienced that firsthand by not being aware of Sephiroth's arrival... Although, that couldn't be blamed on her so much as not knowing of his insanity.

The other would find everything arranged neatly, visible and easily in reach. It wasn't loaded, as per most transportation rules, but a gun was still a gun, loaded or not. Another Turk had always taught her to treat them with caution, lest she become lax and make mistakes. Ah, but now to her demands. "Another set of eyes and ears in this place." She in no way expected him to report to her, it was obvious that that wouldn't go over very well. "I can already tell you have a lot of skill for you age, a good head on your shoulders. If I miss something, you would be the most likely be the one to see it."

Another pause, and Cissnei folds her arms underneath her chest. "Basically cooperation, Kaiba. If we are going to find a way off the island, searching separately would be less productive." It was business; She still had her duty to Shinra and he obviously had something to go back to as well.

It looked like it was in good condition, and certainly was a gun in shape. With everything that had been happening, Kaiba has been half expecting some sort of absurd thing he wouldn't have been able to do anything with. The corner of his lip curved upward slightly in satisfaction as he closed the case. "Of course," he commented at her first statement. It wasn't as if he hadn't been doing the same thing.

Her second comment, her demands, were a bit more troubling. His eyes narrowed slightly as Cissnei outlined exactly what she was asking for. It reminded him sharply of what Yami had asked for, in their previous deal. But...flattery always helped such things go down more smoothly.

"At the moment, I have no quarrel with you," he replied slowly, watching Cissnei intently. "And from what you have told me, it seems we have the same goal in mind. I suppose I can tell you if I see anything. At the moment, there hasn't been any information worth keeping to myself anyway," he replied bluntly. Well, except for his suspicions about Jing's involvement in their capture, but he didn't have the proof he needed to discuss it yet.

And flattery she could do-Sometimes negotiations were all about knowing where to push and what to back off on. "I don't plan on giving you a reason to quarrel with me either, it would be counterproductive." She didn't have time for that, not with everything that was going on. "The more competent people working on finding a way out, the better. That said, this deal goes both ways; If you need to ask me something feel free to."

She returns his gaze with a steady one of her own. Not quite challenging but enough to let him know she wasn't going to be pushed around. He wasn't her president, so there was no need to defer. "That gun is for self defense and the defense of others only. I will know if you use it otherwise." That was a promise. Cissnei wasn't going to allow anymore people to run around and hurt others for the sake of hurting them.

Cissnei did have a point. The solution would certainly come to them faster, if there was some amount of cooperation. Even if it did mean more people looking over his shoulder. "It's a suitable deal. All I need to know is how to go home. I don't expect to be asking many questions beside that," he said. It was all he was really interested in, anyway. He knew better than to get involved in murders.

"I think I have enough people against me as it is without shooting them," Kaiba replied, smirking wryly. "My brother would kill me himself if I tried something like that. And then with my luck, I would never be able to leave this shithole of an Island wonderful place." The smirk turned into a grimace in a flash as he finished his final comment.

She noticed that sudden change in demeanor from the other... It hadn't sounded like he had expected to suddenly praise the island. The woman narrowed her eyes just slightly before letting go. Whatever problems he was having were not any of her business at the moment. Cissnei nodded to show that she had heard him. "Just making myself clear."

More problems were something that she didn't need at this time. With the transaction complete and the warning delivered, Cissnei took a step back from Kaiba. If there was anything else to say...

Damn, she had noticed. Kaiba was sure of it. It was time to end this, before the woman decided to ask unnecessary questions. He took a step back himself, locking the gun case and gripping it with his left hand. "I appreciate your cooperation," he said quickly, his face once again carefully controlled, "and with the way things have been going, I am sure we will speak again."

The CEO turned to leave, but stopped as one more thought came to him. "Oh, Cissnei? There is one person I do need information on. You can even tell him that I'm watching him, I doubt he'll care. But anything you know about Jing, the supposed Bandit King would be quite useful to me," he said thoughtfully.

The woman had turned as well when he had, ready to go back to her somewhat scheduled watching Zack like a hawk and working on finding a way out of here. At the mention of Jing, she looked over her Shoulder at the elder Kaiba and stopped.

"Jing... I will see what I can find." The Turk replied. She knew of the other, but not much else. Cissnei made a mental note of this before leaving.
