When Haruhi woke up after her....interesting night with Roy everything around her was green. Which meant it was time to take a trip into the town to figure out just what happened. What Roy told her in response to her voice post left her more than worried. What exactly went on last night she couldn't remember entirely. There was chocolate pudding and spaghetti and more but the rest was foggy. When she stepped into town wearing her normal school uniform she found it was like the scene out of a nature documentary. 'Better this than a monsoon' She thought heading over to her work palce to make sure that was okay.
The jungle was inconvenient, but it was nice to have a fierce wilderness, in a way. Roy's body remembered his time in Ishbal, and though he hated remembering anything that had to do with that awful time, he was glad of the knife practice he'd gotten from Maes during the downtime. He hefted the snake he'd killed that morning and adjusted it against his shoulder. It was some kind of constricting animal, something without poison, but with powerful coils. It would have a lot of muscle, and it would easily feed him and his roommate, Jeff. Someone had to look after the kid. He headed back into town, his boots thumping on the wooden walkways that led to their new hut-like prisons, but slowed as he got closer to the buildings. That person approaching -- was it -- ? "It is you!" he exclaimed in greeting, a smile appearing as they drew nearer each other. "Haruhi, good morning~"
Haruhi was getting nearer to the Book bin when a voice caught her attention. One distinct voice. She whiped her head around only to see Roy with...her eyes widened slightly. 'Is that a dead snake around his shoulders?' The thought floated through her head as she realized something. Roy was here! She could some answers from him! But first a greeting in response before she questioned him...it was only polite. "Morning Mustang-san." she replied, going back to the formal way of addressing someone. "It's nice to see you. I've been meaning to talk to you about what happened last night."
"So early?" Roy grinned then, head tiliting slightly to the right in an inquiring gesture. He looked the girl over -- yes, he'd remembered Haruhi was a girl, who wouldn't? -- and approved of her outfit. She looked a bit boyish, yes, but... really, she could wear almost anything. "You're up so soon, and that's all you can think of? Maybe you need some breakfast." He jiggled the snake, indicating what he intended to do with it.
Haruhi rolled her eyes at Roy and his dead snake. While she would have found his gestures and personality quite funny she was starting to get annoyed at him. He was being evasive with her questions. Was there something he didn't want her to know? Did she do something illegal last night? Haruhi wanted answers and she wanted them now! She crossed her arms over her chest while glaring a little at Roy. "Mustang-san thank you for your offer but I already ate. Now could you please tell me what happened? I have a vague idea but I want to know what really happened as opposed to what I dreamed of."
He shifted his weight, "tsk"-ing. He shouldn't be teasing her, he supposed, but she was even cuter now that he was seeing some real, genuine emotion. She was sweet normally, and he definitely appreciated that, but there was just something about being able to see more than one side of someone that made a good impression on you. Besides -- those flashing eyes were a definite turn-on. "I don't really know what happened," he answered, shrugging. "You and I ate something that you cooked, and then things got a little... hazy."
Haruhi's left eye began to twitch. So Roy didn't know what happened either? Wait...he said he ate something I cooked...and on that spaghetti I... Haruhi grumbled to herself, raking her fingers through her hair. how could she have been so stupid!? Why didn't she listen to Kyouya? I ate pot with Roy, great.... "Do you recall if anything...got out of hand? Or anything that explains why I was sleeping on the floor?
Roy looked up at the sky, expression thoughtful. "Out of hand? Well..." He shouldn't say it, buuuut.... "I think... I remember you ... licking my chest." He glanced at her then, eyebrows raised in faux surprise. "Kind of racy, but I can't say I didn't like it."
Haruhi was about to tap her foot impatiently at Roy. What was taking him so long to remember? Or was he going to make something up to give her a heart att- Okay now I'm thinking like Tamaki-senpai..that idiot. She thought only to widened her eyes at Roy. Well that certainly explained why she had the taste of chocolate in her mouth this morning. "...well if that was it then I worried for nothing." she replied, exhaling a sigh of relief. "But you did enjoy yourself, right?" she asked, wondering if marketing dinners with hosts was a profitable idea. If so then she would have to do that with all of her clients..or potential ones.
"Oh, yes, I certainly did." It was good she was taking this so calmly. He'd been worried for a moment that his teasing was going too far. But the chest thing was the truth, and if Haruhi wasn't angry about that, then -- "I enjoyed the licking, and the kissing, and the cuddling, too. You know, you're really cute when you're being affectionate, Haruhi. ^_^"
Haurhi looked floored. Kissing? Cuddling? Affection? From her? Now she was confused. She didn't remember anything like kissing him last night! Surely she would've remembered that at least. "Mustang-san I think that might've been a dream. I certainly did not kiss you last night. If such a thing happened then like I can't continue to be your host." she replied with a glare. Honestly he behaves just like Tamaki-senpai!
"Really?" Roy pursed his lips, then shrugged, smile returning. "I guess you didn't, then. Must've been a dream. Just like you said, dear." Not see Haruhi any longer? That wasn't an option.
Another sigh of relief came from her lips. So it was indeed one of Roy's fantasies. Nothing aside from cuddling and...licking happened. She nodded her head. "Alright then, nothing to worry about..but now.." she held her chin as her mind began to tinker away at an idea. "If the dinner went well I should have others then with more people."
Okay, what now? Roy's smile faltered. That wasn't what he'd intended, and, to be honest, he couldn't say he was happy with the idea of Haruhi being alone, at night, with other men. "Ah, I don't know if that's a good idea, especially considering how last night went..."
Haruhi blinked innocently at Roy. She didn't udnerstand what the big deal was. She aws a hsot and hosts entertained clients. Ohh I know what he's worried about. A smile came upon her face. "Don't worry Mustang-san no one will replace you. You were my first and I won't forget it."
Roy's brain exploded a little. He gaped, barely managing to get the words past a tongue that was suddenly clogged with other things he needed to say. "Wait -- Haruhi, if that's what you think 'first' means, then you and I really need to have a serious talk!"
Haruhi was taken by surprise by Roy. Honestly where was his brain today. "Mustang-san I meant by 'first' as in you're the first person I had dinner with at my apartment. " she explained, uncrossing her arms to stick one hand into the pocket of her pants. "And I won't use that same recipe I used for dinner last night." she finished hoping that would calm the man down a bit more.
"..." To buy a little time, Roy re-adjusted the snake. The damn thing seemed to be getting heavier. "I suppose, if it's a different recipe, then --"
Haruhi raised a hand to cut Roy off. "Of course. I'm sorry to cut this meeting short Mustang-san but I need to check on something in the back of the book bin. Have a nice morning." and with that she entered the Book Bin and disappeared into the back where only the employees could go.
There wasn't much more he could do than stare after her. After a moment, he shook his head and turned to get back to his hut. Haruhi was something else, and he hoped he'd be invited to one of her dinners, but he wasn't sure about this new plan of hers. Frankly, he didn't approve. "... and I can think of someone to speak to about it," he murmured to himself.
