Skip the Love, Give me the Hearts

Feb 15, 2009 00:12

Who: Riku Replica and Anti-Sora
When: Feb 14th at night
Where: On the streets near the apartment building
What: The milk chocolate that Riku ate is affecting him, and Anti-Sora is the "victim"
Warnings: Shonen-ai, failure to communicate galore, some gore (it's a heartless)

The slightest clicks and clacks echoed in the alley as Anti-Sora scaled along the walls. Night had fallen and he was finally able to walk around without feeling the ever persistent burn of the sun along his skin. Chocolate still rained down from the sky and in the darkness and shadows of the night the red clouds now look as dark as blood and he licked his lips.

Still, he knew better now. He had eaten one of the little round things that fell from the sky and had immediately spat it out and wiped at his tongue. He should have known better, should have known that a heartless could and would only enjoy the taste of a pulsing organ dripping blood across his tongue. At the mere thought of a heart his stomach growled and he whimpered, putting a claw on it. He needed to feed. So many people complained that the darkness devoured and never ended, but they didn't know the endless hunger.

He needed to feed, he was growing ravenous and then he would be no better than a monster. Heartless were aware, they knew of what they did, fought and fed with the awareness that their actions created yet another heartless. That now another must know the endless hunger. There were never enough hearts.

He crawled down the walls and started to crawl along the streets, headed for the forest where he heard the cries and calls of the creatures within. He would feed on them. He would fest on their flesh and their hearts. Drink heavily from their pumping organs. As he walked a familiar and yet strange smell hit his senses. It was the scent of his creator yet the scent was fainter, softer. He followed the smell and came upon the silver-haired boy. Perhaps he could feed from him instead?
