Almost anyone that was looking for Finnian would have been able to find him in the park. The boy spent almost the entire day, everyday there. Especially on days like today, when the sun was out and there were only a few clouds. Finnian was amazed by the birds that he had managed to find, some of which he had never seen before. So far they were the only friends that he had made on the island, since he somehow kept missing his two room mates and had only spoken to one boy since arriving.
The clothing that the stores had was a little odd but he had found a pair of shorts and shirt that he really liked. Both somewhat like what he wore back at the estate when he was working outside, though he wasn't wearing a hat. Two small yellow birds were flying just ahead of him and he ran across the grass laughing, not really paying attention to where he was going; when there was a crashing sound as he ran into a small tree knocking it over though he and the birds seemed completely un-phased by it.
