Who: Everyone What: Second Game! When: Thursday morning. Where: Across the good olde' Warnings: Will be noted as necessary. Don't forget which team you are on!
Oh got da** it all ... he got paired up with the one person who made him feel like an actual dog ... he's still scarred by the paper bags ... he can't even look at one without twitching.
BWAHAHAHA...I mean...oh my.shutupandduelmeFebruary 8 2011, 23:28:06 UTC
This wasn't a good day for Kaiba Seto. He had spent the past two night systemically tearing apart everywhere Jounouchi Katsuya had ever been in search of his card locket. The nightclub, his room, every damn restaurant in town, and nothing. He was hesitant to drag the blond u and pummel him, for fear that the idiot would break or lose the locket not knowing what he had. And this morning...he woke up to this.
The tall brunet glanced over at the other man, far too close for his liking, and sneered. It had been bad enough being across the counter from him. Now, Kaiba could practically see the fleas on him. This wasn't what needed to happen with his patience so low.
"Don't touch me," he sniffed. He had had enough of dogs today. "And if you fall behind, I will drag you."
B3 This dog has paws ... I mean claws ... bewaretouch_my_earsFebruary 9 2011, 01:56:10 UTC
InuYasha wasn't the happiest camper either at the moment. Well actually, no he's been pretty okay until that last comment. But consider him slightly amused that this guy thinks InuYasha would be anything near the world slow.
He flexes his claw as a habit with a sneer of his own.
"You'll be lucky if I don't drag you. Ain't a single human I know that could beat me in a race."
Miroku was pretty fast, but that's the only human he can remember that could keep up ... and that was at moderate speed.
Kaiba's really bad about not caring. |DshutupandduelmeFebruary 9 2011, 03:43:30 UTC
Kaiba didn't even watch. Besides that sneer, the beast wasn't worth the attention. The blue eyes had already turned away to focus on the sidelines. Atem was there surprisingly. Would the Mutt be stupid enough to show?
"Did I tell you to respond?" he replied absently, cutting off Inuyasha with a firm tone.
"Sharpened nails to match the ears, how cute," Kaiba said dismissively. "All you need is a collar and some little girl with a leash, and you'd have a perfect picture."
He glanced down and tugged at the rope to test it. "How useful a game is when dragging the better players down, I would not know."
"Just as you blew away the competition in the last game," Kaiba said sarcastically. "Growling at your fellow ridiculously dressed countryman won't win. Just powering through won't win either. You need strategy." Something Kaiba had in spades.
There was a warning whistle, and Kaiba shifted to the balls of his feet. "I could always make a leash if you need more direction," he added dryly.
"I didn't see you doing much or the work either you know," Inuyasha fired back.
Whether Kaiba did or didn't he didn't know, but he wasn't going to let that slide without retorting. He had his attention split on watching Kikyou... she was strong but ... probably not much of a dodgeball player.
As for strategy, Inuyasha had none of that. But if you combine Inuyasha's abilities and Kaiba's brain ... they'd be a scary combo to beat if you think about it.
"Keh ... let's just do this. The sooner we win, the sooner the leash comments end."
"Of course not. Canine threat displays are far more important than any competition going on around you," Kaiba replied icily. He hadn't been distracted by Atem's injury for more than a few seconds, he was sure of it. There was nothing else that had kept him from playing in that game.
The last comment, though, he couldn't let escape him. The brunet just smirked.
"You don't stop being a dog after the challenge ends."
"Who says I want to?" Kaiba said with a smirk, just as the start whistle went off. There was no hesitation after that, or any more pauses to speak. Kaiba was in this to win, whether the dog got his wits about him or not.
The rope pulled forward, as Kaiba fully intended to take the lead.
Call Inuyasha surprised at Kaiba's speed. For a human he runs pretty fast. He event tugs Inuyasha for a second. Once coming back to reality and out of his fussy mood, he tries to coordinate with Kaiba running at his pace.

"You don't gotta tell me to do nothing! I'll be glad to put you in your place for free...!" he cracks his knuckles showing his claws.
