Who: Everyone What: First Game! When: Thursday morning. Where: That random gym with dodgeball equipment that showed up! Warnings: Will be balled as necessary. Don't forget which team you are on!
Oh god. Why did it have to be dodgeball. Why did it have to be anything involving strength and speed and running? This was biased from the very beginning!
Yuugi tried to remain as hidden in plain sight as he possibly could.
His plans involved him getting out and staying out. They involved him leaving his team to give his other teammates a better chance at cultivating the prize Kia was seemingly giving to them. But Atem might have had his own ties with one member a little too close to be called fair for everyone else.
A ball whizzing towards his partner had him moving over, reaching his own shield of the dodgeball he was holding up to deflect it from hitting Yuugi's face.
He smiled back at the other. "It's just another game, right, Aibou?" Trying to inspire confidence.
This was probably the first time he had ever played dodgeball, but luckily, he'd been able to catch up on a few things. Dodge being hit, catch the ball or hit someone with it to get them out. It seemed pretty basic and with everyone's powers gone, it would make everything a lot more even.
He did wish that he had been able to move quicker, but he was sure that he was still one of the fastest people on Salkia, seeing as how his speed had been rather natural already.
Of course, he had to keep paying attention though. So, when a ball came flying at him, he tucked and rolled out of the way, landing on his feet and readying to move again.
He was quick to move back a bit, pale eyes taking in the scene. Well, he didn't seem to be doing too badly so far. He didn't want to be doing this, but that didn't mean he wasn't going to try.
When a ball came rolling towards him, Neji grabbed it up and threw it with a slight twist, moving away again afterward in an attempt to dodge anything someone else might be throwing.
Sesshomaru warily watched the metal being as it walked out on to the floor, the clanking sound it made only adding to the noise assaulting the demon's sensitive ears. He pushed the extra noise to the side, focusing only on the game. Sesshomaru wasn't a team player by any means, but he did know how to use others to learn. And he did just that, watching the initial melee and dodging as needed.
Soon, a ball hit the floor near him, and in a spinning move, he grabbed it and launched it towards the other team.
[ooc: Oh InuYasha! Come play with your brother! :D Are you the one who tried to hit him, or are you his victim?]
