What: There's a teacher in town! Hide the kids!
When: Midday
Where: Park, going into town
Warnings: None, except for tooth-rotting fluff if coco sees this.
Well, this was disconcerting. Himuro was sure that he had parked outside of Ayu's house, he'd seen the familiar purple door when he had pulled up. Yet when he opened the car door... all he saw was a forest. A forest covered top to bottom in snow. After recovering from that momentary shock and confusion, he looked back to his car... only to find that it wasn't there anymore, more trees and snow having replaced it. There was no sight of Ayu's home or any other house in the familiar neighborhood. There was no street, no passing cars or people... just trees and snow.
The major temperature change certainly didn't help him recover from the secondary shock. Wasn't it spring back in Habataki City? How is there snow on the ground?
Himuro dug into his coat pocket and fished out his cell, only to find there was no reception. Just his luck. Himuro stuffed the phone back in his coat pocket and began his trek out of the forest. Although the suit that he wore was meant for cooler temperatures, it hardly helped to block out the cold from the snow and it wasn't long before he began to shiver. His hands quickly joined the phone in his pockets to seek warmth as he upped the speed, hoping the exercise would warm him up.
What was going on? How did he end up from being in front of Ayu's home, right next to his car, to being in this forest covered in snow with no car, no reception, and no logical answer as to how this happened in the first place? There was no way he could've gotten lost: he and Ayu live in the same neighborhood, literally houses apart, so getting to her home from his would only take a small drive up the street. As far as he knew, there were no forests near their neighborhood. A park area, yes, but it couldn't be classified as a forest; there weren't enough trees, not including the botanical garden. His head was starting to hurt from trying to figure this out. No possible answer came to mind, and heaven forbid would he ever think that alien abduction or some other ridiculous theory was the cause of this.
Himuro noticed the trees were thinning out and the ground was becoming even. A quick look-around confirmed that he was in a more residential-safe area, perhaps a park. Himuro checked his phone again, hoping to see a difference in reception... Still none. Sighing, he put the phone away once more and made his way into the nearby town. The park was very unfamiliar to him and he didn't see any towering buildings from the shopping district on the horizon like he usually would, so he couldn't be in the same city: So many questions ran through his mind. What's going on? Where am I? Why can't I reach anyone? What happened to Habataki City?
...What happened to Ayu?
His heart clenched as she came up in his thoughts. He had just confessed to her and their relationship was made official only a couple of weeks ago... and he highly doubted she was here with him as well. Was she somewhere else? Was she still in Habataki City? What if he'll never see her again? So much doubt surfaced with those thoughts and it made his heart clench tighter and tighter. The probability of her being here with him, even if she was in a different area, was... well, he didn't want to delve into that. One of his hands reached out of his pocket to clench his tie, as though the action would alleviate the aching in his chest. His body began to grow numb, whether it was from the cold temperature or from his recent thoughts, he wasn't sure about.
Himuro missed her horribly... oh, how badly he wanted to see her again. Even if it was just once, he wanted to see his Ayu again.
