Walking in a winter wonderland~
Who: Yuugi, Usagi, and idk ANYONE WHO MIGHT WANT TO FIND THEM and crash their date later on (ask first, please!)
What: SUPER SPECIAL AWESOME CHOCOLATEY COATED DATING TIME! Yeah Yuugi asked her on a daito. Sorta. Ish. To the skating rink. Which he's never tried before.
Where: Ice skating rink.
When: Early evening of the 18th, tonight!
Warnings: Full of derp and cute and potential embarrassment. Also enough awkward sweetness to make you get the diabeetus. :|b
Yuugi couldn't remember the last time it snowed so much in Domino. Perhaps it never did. Certainly not enough to close school. Maybe at the Sapporo festival? He never paid much attention there, either. But these flakes were large and fluffy, almost unreal, and when he looked up at the sky and watched them fall, one landed on his nose and stayed there until it melted.
He scrunched up his face a moment and rubbed the suicidal snowflake off his nose with the back of his arm, before he readjusted the red and purple scarf that Usagi had knitted for him. For the sake of warmth, he had to go with more 'snow appropriate' clothes over his beloved leather pants, but there were no rules about his collar and bracers. And his winter jacket, too, which he had to buy because.. well.. that was a necessity, really.
Of course, he was wearing reds, blacks, and purples. Had to keep with a Dark Magician theme here.
"We're almost there!" He turned to her as they walked; indeed the rink was so close and he was getting so nervous because he wasn't sure exactly what he was doing. The only 'date' he had been on was... well.. Atem's date with Anzu, and that didn't count. Meeting Usagi at work didn't count. So did.. this count?
What did it count as?
He stuck his hands back into his pockets to keep them warm, willing himself to keep his teeth from chattering. Perhaps it was a mix of the cold and nerves, but he refused to think about either now.
