Kohaku's not the only one in the grocery store today! Kisara's been getting better with using the microwave, so she's starting bringing home frozen food - it didn't taste as good as fresh, but she's never been one to be picky about food, and besides, it's probably not a good idea for her to use the oven.

With veggies in one hand and meat in the other, she's headed to the check-out counter, though when she spots Kohaku out of the corner of her eye, she stops. Her hands are full, so she can't wave, but she does walk over to him so that they can talk. When she's close enough, she speaks up. "Hello."

Kohaku had just been studying some packages in the shelfs, trying to find out if he wanted to eat their content or not.
At the sound of her voice Kohaku turned around. Ah, it was that girl, who liked his music, Kisara.
"Oh. Hey", he greeted casually, giving the things she was going to buy a curious glance.

"You're shopping for food, too?" It wasn't really a question, since the answer was obvious. "How are you?" she added as a follow-up.

"Mhm. Still getting used to this place."
The lack of Guignols was wonderfully relaxing and completly disturbing at the same time. But Kohaku had decided not to think about it too much as it was completly pointless. He rather focussed on searching a job and exploring the technical improvements this world had.

"What about you?"

"I'm okay," she replied. It was nice to be able to say it and have it be true, and Kisara smiled at the thought. She really had been enjoying herself here; it was peaceful, normal. Just the kind of life she'd always wanted. The overwhelming kindness that had been shown to her was something she felt truly grateful for, and she wanted to be careful not to take it for granted. "Thank you."

She shifted a little in her position, which reminded her that she was still carrying food. "I was about to make a purchase, actually." That, too, was nice to say - her, of all people, buying something! She wouldn't have thought it would ever be possible before, but that was something else that had changed while she was here. "Would you like to come with me?"

Kohaku quickly decided to just grab one of the random packages of premade vegetables and nodded. Somehow he didn't want to stand here any longer and deciding with the head also had never been his thing.

"Sure", he nodded. This world truly was weird. Kohaku usually never stayed somewhere long enough to get to know people who weren't part of the orchestra or at least related to the court.
