Who: Llyud and OPEN! What: There's a sleeping man with red wings! Do you bother? When: Mid-morning Where: Somewhere with lots of trees, so I suppose the park? Warnings: None~
Llyud blinked. The smile was... unexpected, to say the least. So was the politeness. He wondered if this "Kisara" had no ill intentions when she approached him after all. There was still that nagging in the back of his mind that told him that the sky pirates were the same way; they'd gain your trust and as soon as your guard was down, they'd backstab you.
Then he was reminded of Clan Galbana and how friendly they were to him and the other aegyl from the start. That outruled the nagging by a fraction, though he still felt apprehensive.
He didn't respond to her greeting, instead placing a hand on the tree behind him for support, so that he could stand (Wings are pretty heavy when you're tired, don'tcha know). He grabbed and righted his spear with the other hand, instantly shifting his weight onto it so that he could be supported; he didn't intend to attack the girl, not when she was being so friendly. He was still being careful not to be too trusting, in case she was being deceitful.
"What is this land?" he asked, once he had managed to gain his balance. He stretched the muscles that attached the wings to his back, causing the feathers to ruffle a bit.
The sight of a weapon caused her to bristle instinctively, but she relaxed upon seeing he was only using it to support himself. "It's called Salkia," she answered, then paused to think. If he didn't know where he was, that meant he had just arrived, hadn't it? She had thought he had been here and she simply hadn't met him, but no, that wasn't the case.
She hadn't actually greeted someone new to the island yet, which might have been for the best - there was a lot she didn't know or understand about Salkia, and she wasn't quite sure how to explain it. But if he was new, then he must be feeling confused, and she wanted to help. How did Atem explain it to her when she first showed up?
"This place... um, it pulls people in. There are lots of people here, from all kinds of different places, and they didn't know where this was at first, either." She looked up at him through her unkempt hair, watching to see how he would react. It was a lot to take in all at once, she knew; she had been there not too long ago. And she wasn't the best person to welcome someone to Salkia, but she'd at least try.
