Wandering little girl

Who: Chibi Yuuki and OPEN
What: The little girl is bored and decides to explore.
When: Today in the afternoon.
Where: Anywhere but the forest! She's a good little girl!

Nill was wandering about, too, and seeing this little girl around town was certainly interesting. She hadn't seen someone so young before, so she made her way over to the girl, a small smile spreading across her face.

She waved, her wings fluttering slightly.

Yuuki was looking over everything from the trees to the flowers she saw in the hedges. She wasn't expecting anyone to walk up to her. And when this girl did Yuuki blinked. Who was she--and why did she have wings on her back?!

She was getting excited. The only people who had wings on their backs were fairies! She began to stare at Nil in total awe and shyly...waved back.

This only made Nill smile more. She took out her LP and typed in a few words before holding it out to the girl to read. She had gotten better at typing, so it didn't take nearly as much time as it used to.

"My name is Nill, and yours?"

Yuuki blinked again wehn the fairy took out one of those device thingies and typed. She tilted her head slightly at the words on the screen. She had gotten better with reading...but she still had to sound out certain words.

"Ni...Nill....and...yours..." she read out loud. once she was finished she looked back up at Nill the fairy.

"...I'm Yuuki...and....and...are you a fairy?!"

Nill would have giggled, but all that came out was a small squeak. She shook her head, her eyes a bit more distant than they were before. It was a forced genetic mutation, but explaining that to this little girl didn't seem right to her at all.

Instead of explaining, she reached out and pat Yuuki on the head affectionately. She had always been the one that had to be taken care of, so taking care of someone else was certainly something wonderful.

That squeak...was it fairy language? Was Nill trying to communicate to her in the fairy way? She stilled when Nill's hand came towards her, but she instantly relaxed with a pat on the head. She giggled.

"Are you a flower airy? No, no! You're a water fairy? or...or are one of those tinker fairies?" she asked, before an idea popped into her head.

"Would you like to go exploring with me?"

Nill nodded and pulled her hand back, smiling more now. Of course she wanted to go exploring with her. It seemed fun!

Though, communicating had become somewhat of a nuisance, mainly for others around her than for herself. Even if she tried her best to get the point through, sometimes it wasn't enough.

With Nill nodding Yuuki quickly took the other woman by the hand.

"Come on! I think the park is..this way!" she announced, dragging her fairy friend along. This was every little girl's dream-to have a play date with an actual fairy.

Nill was happy to follow along, and she knew about as much as Yuuki did. It wasn't as bad as being alone to find the park, though, so it would be fun to travel with the little one.

Nill hadn't smiled so much in so long.

When they got to the park Yuuki's eyes immediately zeroed in on the swing set. She tugged on Nill's hand more as she lead them over to the swing set.

"Sit here! I'll push you first!" she was treating her fairy friend as though she were royalty.
