Who: Nill and Ritsuka, and anyone else who might want to show up? What: meeting Ritsuka for the first time / socializing When: Midafternoon? Where: room A:12 Warnings: None at all c:
Ritsuka was coming back from the work. He had not yet met his new roommate and honestly he wasn't sure he wanted too. He only knew that it was someone named Nill. Sometimes there was food left over on the tables and even the food he left out would be eaten but he didn't mind. He didn't really care so that's why he didn't mind.
He was rather fond of not having to meet this new roommate. He held no animosity towards them, whomever it was. He just didn't want to meet another person that would get to leave.
But he supposed he should have been used to fate not agreeing with him. He blinked when he saw a little blond winged girl sitting in front of his door. He didn't take much note of the wings he merely gazed at her.
Oh. Nill jumped to her feet gracefully, but shook her head. She was looking for her roommate, really, but also trying to get inside. Wait, doesn't that mean that... she looked over the boy in front of her. He had ...ears... and a tail. Was he like her...? She shook her head. Probably not. But, as she studied his face, she noticed something. Was he okay?
She shook her head and held up the key to the room. Wait, if he asked if she was looking for his roommate, does that mean that he is who she's looking for?
He saw the key and raised a brow. Was this his roommate? Well whatever, she wasn't anything new on the island. He pulled out his key and opened the door, holding it open for her.
Nill nodded and smiled, thankful for his help and walked inside. Turning to face him, she pointed to her neck and shook her head with a sullen expression. She had to do this every time she met someone due to everyone not knowing about her 'disability'.
This is where her LP came in, but ... she didn't quite know what to say, besides asking if he was alright.
She nodded, eyes lighting up because he got her message. Finally, she had met her roommate, and he seemed really nice! But ... There was still something.
So, she took out her LP. Even so, she still hesitated. They had just met. Shouldn't she wait a bit before asking something that seems a bit out of the blue?
"Are you hungry?" he asked as he set his bag down and headed towards the kitchen. He wondered if he should get her a little dry-erase board. Would she know what it is?
He paused and gazed at Nill for a moment. If she had a key why hadn't she just let herself into the place? She seemed to know how to use it since she came and went as she pleased. What an odd girl.
Another nod. Yes, in fact, she was quite hungry. Her stomach growled in agreement. Well, that's another way to get the point across.
Slowly, she moved closer to him, mainly to just inspect him. She didn't look like someone from her town, so were the ears and tail a different story? Since her's were ....
Well, either way, he seemed like quite a unique person.
He started to pull out supplies and decided an omelet would work well enough. He put on an apron and pulled out a whisk though he didn't pay much attention to the necessary menial task.
It didn't take him long to finish preparing the dish before he pulled out the ketchup and wrote out the word "enjoy" on top before he put it down towards her.
Nill's eyes practically sparkled. Whatever it was, it looked delicious. She'd never had anything like it before, so, eager to try it, she cut off a piece with a fork and took a bite.
If she could talk, she would have made a variety of noises that signaled that 'this was delicious.'
Thank you, Ritsuka. she thought as she put the fork down and made a heart with her hands.
He didn't really know why, but the little heart made him blush a bit. Maybe it was because Nill couldn't just say "thanks." Or that she didn't have to show any sign of appreciation but she did anyways.
She smiled and hastily ate what was in front of her. Thought, even when being hasty about it (she was pretty hungry) she made sure to take her time to enjoy the taste.
This was certainly something she'd never ate before, and she loved it. It's too bad she couldn't cook anything in return.
When she finished he took the plate and put it in the sink. Since living on Salkia he had to be more responsible and learn how to cook, do laundry, shop. While he had had help several times from various people it eventually fell completely on him.
"Right, so, now you're inside. I guess I'll leave you to do whatever it is you wanted."
Oh, so he thought something else. She took out her LP and typed in a few words before showing it to him.
"I wanted to meet you." He expression wavered between curiosity and happiness from the realization that she had met her roommate, and that her roommate was so close to her age.

"Are you waiting for my roommate Miss?"

"Are you unable to talk?" he asked as he just watched her. A mute wing girl, he would give her points for originality.
