Kagome was walking by when she heard the random noise. She knelt down by him and smiled slightly.

"Welcome to Salkia."

He'd heard her footsteps as the girl approached and sat up quickly, a little paranoid of his new surroundings. Jou watched her as she knelt beside him and smiled. Well, she seemed friendly enough.

"Salkia?" He repeated with a raised brow. It wasn't a name he recognized, and it certainly wasn't in his beloved Domino City. "Guess that must be this place, huh?"

She could understand what he was going through. It is very unsettling being in a place that you don't know.

She sighed as she thought of a way to describe it although at his other question, she glanced back and smiled. At least he was smart. "Yes this island is known as Salkia."

"Right, right. An island." He said quietly, turning the thought over and over in his mind. He guessed it kind of was like Duelist Kingdom. Except, all of his friends weren't with him and he didn't have a direction.

"You live here or somethin'? 'Cause I sure as hell don't." Jounouchi said to her as he slowly got to his feet and dusted himself off. His entire body still screamed in pain, but he gritted his teeth and tolerated it. "Name's Jounouchi, by the way."

Kagome just smiled slightly. Its a gigantic island but still an island and still a prison.

"Not by choice" she grumbled before she realized what she said and smiled. "I hate to tell you but you do now. There is no way off." She stood back as he stood but she noticed he gritted his teeth. Laying a gentle hand on his arm she looked up at him in concern. "Are you alright?"

"I'm Kagome."

"...No way off?" He frowned a little. He guessed it made sense. If Kaiba and all his money was trapped here, they were probably stuck. If there's a way out, someone would have found it. "I'll figure somethin' out..." He said quietly.

He shrugged at her question. "I'm alright. Got kinda banged up before I woke up here, but it's okay."

At her name, he offered a nod. "Nice to meet'cha."

"That we know of. If you do, please let me know. I need to get back."

She looked him over real quickly. "Are you sure, you seem in a lot of pain. I have some medicine that will help."

She smiled. "you too."
