Ichigo shook her head at Kagome's question, still smiling. "Mmn, I'm fine."

Ichigo stayed quiet as Kagome looked through the boxes to find something to eat. She had to tell her about Kisshu eventually but she was still a little worried. Ichigo perked up at Kagome's sigh and blinked when she found Kagome looking at her.

Ichigo stayed quiet throughout Kagome's explanation. So... somehow everyone, even Kisshu, was brainwashed and put in some sort of high school alternate universe. While in that universe, Kagome and Kisshu were friends and he took care of her when she was grieving. It... hardly made sense to the new girl, but then again, so did turning a corner of a major city and ending up in a forest. So, in a way, Ichigo could kind of see this happen.

Ichigo looked down and leaned against a wall. She already knew. She already knew that Kisshu "loves her" but she didn't like the way he showed it. There was something corrupt about his courting, and she didn't like that.Ichigo exhaled softly, frowning, before letting out a small, halfhearted giggle. "I... guess it's nice for Kisshu to have someone distract him."

Ichigo quickly sobered up as she told Kagome her side. "Kisshu isn't just my enemy, he's also the enemy of Tokyo... of Earth. He's one of the three aliens that are trying to destroy the humans... He's the one responsible for all of the animals turning into monsters and hurting people. There were many times where he personally attacked my friends..."

Ichigo's fists clenched as she spoke the last sentence. "...and there were many more times where he tried to hurt-- no, kill, the one I love."

Kagome grabbed some and stopped to look at him.

Her eyes widen when she mentioned about the distraction. "Distraction...I dont' understand? Is that all I am to him? I'm just a distraction..." She looked sad before smiling at the other girl.

She walked over and gently put a hand on Ichigo's shoulder. "I'm sorry Ichigo. Truly I am. I don't want things to be awkward. He told me that he had to attacked humans before but then he gave his life...for you Ichigo. You changed him." She realized what she said and completely looked horrified. "I don't mean you should feel horrible or anything. Your feelings are completely justified!" She looked really uncomfortable now.

At her last sentence, she just stared at her. "The one you love...you do love another?"

"I-I didn't mean it like that, nya~! I-it's just that, he's always after me a-and it'd be nice to not have him breathing over my shoulder, that's all!" Oh God, she already screwed this up. Way to get the wording right, Ichigo. She seriously wanted to slap herself.

"He... he gave his... I don't remember that happening." Ichigo frowned, honestly didn't. She thought that Kisshu was going crazy when he mentioned someone named "Deep Blue" and asking how she "escaped" them. The only Kisshu she knew was the "super-mega creepy stalker who wants to destroy the world," not like... what Kagome told her.

At Kagome's question, Ichigo looked away, clasping her hands. Her heart started clenching the moment she thought about him. How she was over two hours late to the date, how she can't even call him to tell his that she's alright... it hurts. It hurts so so much.

"His... his name is Aoyama Masaya."

Kagome put her food down and walked over to Ichigo. She laid an comforting hand on the other girl's shoulder.

"Kia takes us from different points so maybe she took Kisshu from a different point then you. I wouldn't worry about it but maybe the Kisshu that is here, is different from the Kisshu that you know. Maybe you should give him a chance."

She smiled slightly. "Is he the one that you were worried because you were late for the date with. Does he know that you have cat DNA inside of you? If he knows what you do, I'm sure he's understand."

Ichigo found this new fact a little hard to believe. Of course, it did make a little sense when Kisshu mentioned the "Deep Blue" bit, but not much else. And besides, if he sacrificed his life for her, and is now dead, then how could he be here now, obviously alive?

Ichigo sighed, nodding her head a little. "I... I'll try." She puts on a small, teasing smile. "No promises though, nya~!"

And as soon as her teasing mood came, with Kagome's question, it left. Ichigo shook her head, looking like she's ready to cry. She hangs her head, her answer barely coming out as a mumble. "N-no... he doesn't know. No one else knew, except for our bosses and the aliens. It was all a big secret, so that no one would have to deal with the paparazzi. I... I hated it. I never wanted to lie to him, but I'm being forced to."

She smiled somewhat at the girl and realized that she was explaining it incorrectly.

"Kia just snatches us up and she doesn't care about when she does so. Many of us come from different points of history. I am from modern Japan but...." She couldn't think of where everyone else was from...oh Ed "A girl here named Edward is from the way future but yet we both live here. I know it's hard to believe but it's true."

"You can't die on Salkia..well you can but you come back a few days later. Sometimes Kia takes a dead person and puts them here on Salkia, alive. She holds a vast amount of power and Salkia is her...invention I guess. I don't know why we are here or why she chooses to pick some and to get rid of others but we are here until she decides to get rid of us." She speaks low and with some heat as she says this. Recently she just lost a few of her friends so she is not happy with Kia.

Kagome smile widen with the teasing smile but then she looked somewhat serious. "I understand Ichigo...it is hard to trust or even like someone if they were trying to kill your homeland and your friends. Everything is different now."

She felt for making Ichigo seem sad and she wrapped an arm around her. "Its okay Ichigo..."she didn't know what else to say.

Ohh... so that's how Kisshu was still alive and thought that she knew someone named Deep Blue. It still barely made sense to her, but Ichigo supposed that this Kia-chan must have been pretty powerful to rip these people away from their worlds and bring them onto this island.

Even so, she still didn't like how mind-trippy this whole experience was becoming.

Ichigo leaned into Kagome's hug, all of her feelings... all of her hurt from earlier starting to seep out. It didn't take long before tears started to fall from Ichigo's eyes. It hurt so much. Being away from her friends and family... being away from Aoyama-kun... being ripped away from Aoyama-kun... the guilt inside of her was starting to eat her alive and it hurts it hurts.

Ichigo cried for a little longer, a few sobs managing to escape her, before she calmed down enough for her to thank Kagome and lean back. She wipes the tears off from her eyes before speaking again, with a small smile.

"I promise I'll give Kisshu a second chance... if you promise me something, Kagome-san."

She was surprised when Ichigo actually leaned into her. She kept her arms around her and patted her back. She could understand how upset the girl could be, especially since she lose everything but at least she knew someone here. She remained quiet as the girl cried.

When she leaned back, she dropped her arms. "I understand what you must be feeling. Kia took me without wondering about how it would hurt me. I have friends, and family where she took me from. My mom, grandfather and my brother sota, Inuyasha, Sango, Miroku and Shippo...but time does not pass. Time is frozen where they are." That was the only thing that got her through.

She blinks in surprise. "uhh sure."

Even though it wasn't the first time Ichigo heard someone say that, she could believe that time would stand still in Tokyo as long as Ichigo was here. Hearing that made her feel a little better, but the guilt was still there. She supposed that with time, like Kagome, she could get through this.

Ichigo flashes her cute smile to Kagome. "Promise that you'll stay with Kisshu. You're a good person and I don't completely understand how you'd like him, but you obviously do, right? I don't want you to break up with him just 'cause I'm here."

Because, honestly Kagome? That's not gonna make Ichigo like him any more.

Ichigo's smile widens into a more confident looking one, which looks strange with her flush and swollen eyes. "And if he hurts you, let me know, nya~? I'll set him straight!" For emphasis, she lightly punches a fist into her other hand.

Kagome smiled as Ichigo flashes her smile. "I...will stay with Kisshu? Why would you want me to promise me that? Why wouldn't you want to try it out?

"Besides there's another thing holding me back...I was able to travel back to Feudal Japan and while there I met Inuyasha...a half-demon. There's a jewel that can give a lot of power to demons called the Shikon-no-tama and I shattered it. While traveling for the shards of the jewel, I fell in love with him. 50 years before I met him, he had met a young priestess named Kikyo and he fell in love with her. She was brought back to life by an evil sorceress so everytime Inuyasha heard her name, he would leave."

She glances at Ichigo "I stayed by Inuyasha's side because that's where I knew I needed to be but I don't need to stay by Kisshu's. He doesn't need me! I just...it'll be hard to stay with him if I don't know his heart."

She did smile when Ichigo punches her fist into her other hand. "First Atem and now you...I don't think Kisshu will ever physically hurt me but thank you."

Ichigo stayed silent as Kagome told her about her life. So, like Ichigo, there was a loved one still back in her home world. And like back in her home world, Kagome was chasing after someone who loved someone else. Ichigo wasn't completely sure if making Kagome stay with Kisshu would be a good thing at this point, but she still had to try... she wanted her new friend to be happy, after all.

"Well... the reason why I want you to stay with Kisshu is because I don't like him the way you do. Like I said before, I love someone else. It'd probably hurt Kisshu knowing that I don't like him the way he wants me to, even though the one I love isn't here. It'd be better if he had someone like you with him, Kagome-san..."

"And if you don't wanna be with him, at least stay as his friend." Ichigo was determined to see these two happy together, but if Kagome didn't want to be with Kisshu anymore, Ichigo wasn't going to hold it against her. She wasn't going to force her to be with Kisshu, for that matter.

Ichigo stiffened when Kagome assumed that Kisshu wouldn't hurt her. Unlike Kagome, she knew the truth, and the truth was... if he wanted to physically hurt her, he would. Ichigo probably figured that Kagome knew that Kisshu can be pretty clingy (from what she was told by Atem-san, Kisshu must have told everyone about how much he loves her quite a few times) and he will get violent if he doesn't get what he wants. "I just want to make sure that you won't get hurt. He's... pretty unpredictable."

She looked up at her and sighed. "Don't you see though. It doesn't matter if you don't love Kisshu as much as he loves you, I don't know if Kikyo loved Inuyasha anymore...what matters is that they love you. How do you know...how do you know if he's better if he has someone like me?"

"I do want to be with him...but I want him to be with me and only me! I dont' want him always thinking of someone else" Her head was bowed and her words low as she said this. She knew it was selfish but it was how she felt.

She smiled at her slightly. "Thank you Ichigo. I don't think you have anything to worry about."

"Because then he knows that there is actually someone who does love him. And if he still loves me, then why did he agree to go out with you? He has to like you more than enough if he wanted to go out with you, right?" Never mind the fact that Ichigo unwillingly dropped in when they just got together, but she's going to try her best erasing any doubts that Kagome has about their relationship.

Ichigo turned away from Kagome, walking a bit to the side and clasping her hands behind her back. "But... it's the same with you and Inuyasha-san. You love him and you still decided to go out with Kisshu... you wanted to move on, right? I know it's gonna be harder since I'm here now, but... maybe Kisshu will finally realize that I don't love him the way he wants me to and move on too. You just need to give him that time."

Ichigo turned and smiled at Kagome. "Hey, that's what friends are for!" At least, she was hoping to be Kagome's friend. She wanted to be on good terms with the other girl, without Kisshu being an issue.

"But I don't' love him...I don't' think. I like him certainly...but love?" Her eyes widen as she looked at Ichigo. "We were both trying to move on in life but now that you are here...he doesn't need to anymore. Sure he likes me but compared to you...its just like." She sighed. This was way to confusing for her. She would rather go back to the Feudal Era and kill something then deal with this. This kind of middle school drama was the sort things she usually tried to avoid.

She watched her walk away. "Yes...I have been trying to move on. I love Inuyasha and I always will. I have felt as though I was...betraying him..his memory, everything moving on. I felt guilty but how will if I will ever see him again!" Her voice was passionate as she spoke.

She smiled back. "Exactly! If you ever have trouble! Please come and tell me...I'll watch out for you!"

Ichigo sighed... It seemed like Kia-chan wanted drama to happen between Kagome and Kisshu by bringing her in, and drama was what she got. Thanks to her interference, their relationship is ruined and it'll be back to Kisshu pining for Ichigo and Kagome being... alone. It would've been better if the two stayed together, without Ichigo being around.

"That'll be exactly how I'd feel if I go to Kisshu though, if I ever wanted to. I'll feel like I'm betraying Aoyama-kun and all the good times we had together, and I can't do that. It'll hurt... so much. If... if you do plan on stopping... you two will stay friends though... right?"

She bounced on her heels, her smile ever present. Ichigo was so glad that Kagome was willing to be her friend even though she ruined a shot at happiness for her. "And I'll do the same for you!"

Kagome wouldn't put it past Kia to have Ichigo come in to confuse Kagome and Kisshu. She was not sure if their relationship was ruined, she just felt confused and hurt. She could not blame this on Ichigo though..it wasn't her fault.

She glanced at Ichigo and she smiled slightly but now she felt more guilt. She lowered her eyes in shame. "I...should have waited. I have been here 9 months and I don't know if he's ever going to come. I just miss him so much...I was just trying to move on. Friends...I don't know."

Kagome smiled back at her. "Good! I'm glad we are going to be friends! I don't blame you at all for what happened with Kisshu and I. It's not your fault Ichigo!"
