Who: Sarah and Heck
What: Just gunna' go with the flow.
Where: Soap'n'Suds Dry Cleaning
When: Early morning when the Dry Cleaners opens
Warnings: None as of now.

Sarah stood in front of the dry cleaners, a frown on her face and contempt in her heart. She enjoyed having a job so she could have money, but sitting at the dry cleaners all day gave her too much time to think about Toby. And though she might never admit it, she thought about Jareth. With a sigh she unlocked the doors and went in, turning on lights and machinery as she went. She dumped her bag under the counter and caught a glimps of herself in the mirror. So called "skinny" jeans and an over sized tee shirt with the name of a band she had never heard of, her long brown hair pulled into a high ponytail with one of those 'bumps' she had seen on an advertisement at the clothing store, high heeled boots, red lipstick and long black lashes gave the appearance of being older. It was an effect she was looking for, but she barely recognized herself. Every time she saw herself in the mirror she would double take, forgetting that it wasn't 1986 anymore.

She swept and washed the windows and made sure that everything she needed for the day was out before turning on the "Open" sign and unlocking the door for customers. From then on it was a waiting game. She sat behind the counter and watched the clock, wondering if her manager was going to make an appearance today. She was still angry with him for arguing with her over the network, and a part of her hoped he wouldn't bother coming to work. Or maybe her would buy her flowers and apologize. "Like that would ever happen!" she said aloud. It was childish and she knew it, but worrying about Toby only made her more irritable and whiny. Maybe she would just blame it on her period...
