What: Beyond wants to know when exactly Meiji 11 was and uses the chance to check out the library

Meiji 11.... If he only had listened in history. Being a genius and all was nice, but it didn't make Beyond alknowing. Besides he had only bothered to learn the stuff that would help him become L and later surpass L. Also japanse hitory hadn't been too important in an English orphanage.
But Beyond wanted to know.
Seta Soujiro was from past. It caught his intrest. As Salkia Island was generally often a boring place, he welcomed any object of fascination.
Also B was, truth be told, kind of a show-off. He wanted to make it appear like he knew anything about Soujiro's time anyway. Which was why he had to learn about it.
And he had wanted to visit the library anyway.
Sitting down with a book about the Meiji Restauration and what came after, he let himself be taken into the world of letters.
Beyond was a quick reader. Probably faster than most people you have ever met. So he flipped the sides in immense speed, not bothering if someone saw it and wondered about it.
He as after all a little show-off.
