Kenpachi had been bored since well the whole school situation. The camp had held nothing that interested him slightly beside the brief moments of things such as tug or war, not even anything worth training against when he went into the woods. However, now that they were back he was hoping that things would liven up a little, and he was able to finally get a drink again.

Sitting at a table not far from the bar, Kenpachi ordered a bottle of sake leaning his Zanpakuto against the wall next to him.

There were two other people, as far as Cissnei was aware, that she was supposed to meet up with that night. She was there accordingly, entering a little bit uncertainly-After all, while she wasn't unduly worried about anything happening, being around people she wasn't so much familiar with was a little cause for...not nervousness, but caution perhaps.

But hell, she had been here for a year and a half. It was time for her to do something that wasn't all work, perhaps.

She spotted Kenpachi nearby, and perhaps with a little more daring than usual, walked over to him. "Kenpachi, right? I'm Cissnei." Well, they hadn't technically met, but Preston had talked about all three of them meeting.

Sitting a little sprawled out Kenpachi looked up at the red head as she approached him, his bells jingling a little as a single golden eye glanced at her. "Eh? Yeah, that's me."

Grabbing another cup he set it out for her, "Ya come ta have a drink too? It's always better with others around." Kenpachi was used to going out with the other captains and some of the guys from his squad, as well as few of the girls like Matsumoto. Kenpachi seemed fairly relaxed compared to how he usually was, his reiatsu surpressed a little and expression not quite as fierce.

"I did, Preston invited me."" She admitted. With that permission, she sat down opposite of him, ordering a drink with a generous amount of ice - after all, she knew how much alcohol she could take, and it honestly wasn't much. She could sense...something about this man, but her Magic abilities only extended to materia, and not much else.

The sword, however, was a big giveaway.

"It is," She agreed. "I haven't been in some time, much less since I came here."

Kenpachi let out a rough laugh before pour some Sake into his own cup and taking a swallow. "Heh, this place seem ta do that a lot. Almost like going back ta being a brat or something."

Of course he was referring to the fact that not many trained, fought or drank here as they usually would. At least not by the measures that Kenpachi was used having grown up in the Zaraki district of soul society.

She sat back, relaxing just a slight bit. She kind of understood what he was talking about, for the most part. If not the words, than the emphasis on them.

"I haven't seen you around here, except for a few times on the Network." She started conversationally. Kenpachi was quite a big guy, one would think he would be hard to miss.

Resting an arm on the back of the chair Kenpachi shrugged a little. He didn't really care about other's seeing him all that much unless he felt it would be a good fight, besides most of the time he wasn't wandering around the town pointlessly, "Spend most of my time in the forest, at least there there's something worth while ta fight. Gotta get enough practice ta keep from gettin weak."
