But god wasn't she tired this morning. Working later than usual had extended past weekends and into weekdays, but of course she would be doing all she could to keep it from showing. Her backpack slung over one shoulder as she got off of the bus, turning the LP on silent to keep it from making update alerts during classes (because really, who actually turned off their phone?) the redheaded student headed down the hallway to where she knew Usagi was going to be dropped off in the mornings.

Just another day, really. Passing Mr. Mutou was also part of it, nd she gave the man a brief smile and a nod when she saw him. His class for her was the last of the day, which she was still attempting to change to the first one... Really, a free period in the middle of the day? that did not help her any at all, study hall or otherwise.

Atem smiled and returned the nod. He almost let her walk away, too, but he remembered something. It was a little ridiculous of him to actually have forgotten. But there was a day part of his brain and an afternoon part of his brain. It served to help remember what students where when at what times.

But he remembered that he had wanted to talk to Cissnei lately. "Ah, excuse me, Cissnei, wait just a moment." He turned slightly so that he could double back and get a word in with her.

Hearing her name called, the girl stopped and looked over her shoulder, seeing the teacher turning around and eyes on her, clearly with intent to speak. That she was fine with, considering she had a little bit longer until she needed to meet Usagi. The redhead turned fully and met the man halfway, head cocked to the side as she looked up at him.

"Yes sir?" Cissnei inquired, having a feeling she knew what this was about already. Mr. Mutou usually did not stop her in the hallway...Maybe, she faintly hoped, it was just about prom.

Now how to approach this subject? Cissnei seemed like a proud young woman, she probably didn't need anyone hovering over her or worrying about her. But her performance in class was dropping considerably from where she used to be and it worried him.

"I was just wondering if there has been something going on lately? At home or otherwise?" It was a fair start, not really the best, but what else could he really speculate. And it left room for her to be vague about her answers without really accusing her of anything either.

At home or otherwise...well, wasn't that quite the question. The girl shifted slightly taking a stance with her arms crossed over her stomach, her typical defensive movement, though she had every intention of keeping things cordial. "The prom, of course. The committee meets everyday now." She said vaguely, not intending to go further into it.

The principle was supposed to be the only one who knows where she worked at, after all. And Cissnei would much rather keep it that way, less she got into trouble even more. She was well aware her grades were slipping, but with the way classes calculated out...She could skim over Atem's class a little more because of her already high grade, until things evened out with her work life and she had more time for school and studies again.

"Mm, the prom.." He murmured. He knew the kids were getting all hyped up about it and because of that he was starting to ease back on some of the work he was giving them. Still, though, he wasn't completely faithful in Cissnei's answer. But she didn't seem to want to tell him and he couldn't really force her.

Whatever she was doing was her business. Though if she started to slip into the failing area, he'd really have to take it up with someone else. For now, though, she was doing alright. So he gave her a nod and smiled. "I hope you'll have lots of fun then."

...He's a nice guy, Cissnei was aware of that out of most of the Teachers, Atem seemed to be one of the ones the students favored more in all grades. She raised her chin and looked at him, hazel meeting red.

"This will ease up a bit after it's over." She told him, but didn't make any further allusions than that. With such, she put on a smile and nodded to him once more. "I'll see you later Mr. Mutou."

He nodded and accepted her answer. She was a bright young woman. Even if it wasn't about prom, he had no doubt that whatever was bogging her down, she'd find a way to manage. "Mm, don't forget your textbook today." He reminded as he gave her a small wave.
