Kisshu was flying in the air, looking out for anyone who was not from the family.

Atem said they would fight and he truly was looking forward to it. Because he was angry, so angry at himself and the whole world for this all to happen. He didn't want to be here. He really didn't.

And he wanted to see people suffering. Preferably humans suffering. It would be a lot better, if someone was suffering, who actually had done this to him, but well...
He had to make someone pay. Pay for his death, his nightmares, Ichigo's pain, his family's suffering. Hurting people could be fun. He was a sadist after all. Kisshu enjoyed the sight of freaful humans.

The dark haired ninja shifted on the tree branch he was settled on, pale eyes scanning the area and waiting for any of the other people to arrive. He could tell which of them were on the Moon Family's side by sensing that certain darkness within them. So far, he could only sense two, but he was sure that others would come.

Shifting on the branch, he lowered his hand to grab the limb, curling his fingers tightly. Luckily, his byakugan was activated and he would be able to see or sense anybody that came into the forest or tried to sneak up behind him.

He had to watch out for others to make sure no one would be caught offguard.

Shit shit shit. Shit! How could he let this happen again? He was trying to rest and regain any strength or chakra he'd need for this upcoming battle, and then this had to happen. He let his focus on Neji go astray for just five minutes and then the last thing he sees is that Neji is on the brainwashed side again!

As he jumped from tree to tree he kept his eyes pealed for the ninja. This time he didn't have full strength or chakra, and he wasn't focusing as much on concealing whatever he had left. Hell, he didn't even have time to plan properly.

He tensed slightly when he sensed another form of chakra coming along the trees, glaring back over his shoulder then shifting slightly. Luckily, he'd masked his chakra and hidden in the other tree branches, using his byakugan to try and see who was coming before they could find him.

As Shikamaru came closer, Neji just barely smirked, ducking just a bit lower in the branches, obscuring himself even more.

Shikamaru fumbled around in his pouch for a kunai. He wasn't sure where Neji was, but he was certain that Neji would have a few tricks up his sleeve for their next encounter. He hoped that this one would go as excellent as his last one did when Neji was under this dark influence.

Neji stayed crouched on the branches still, poised and ready to pounce, as if he were some type of jungle cat. His muscles were tightened, one hand gripping the branch and the other resting on the sheath of his shorter sword, White Illusion as it had been named. As soon as Shikamaru got closer, he would jump him with a surprise attack.

Shikamaru stepped apprehensively on the tree branch. Something just seemed off, something wasn't right. He would have swept the area more clearly but his head was throbbing and he wanted to get to Neji before he did anything.

As soon as Shikamaru stepped onto that tree branch, the dark haired shinobi shifted and moved forwards just barely on his own limb. He jumped forwards suddenly, swinging his arm forwards and aiming an attack at the other ninja.

Shikamaru stepped back, to say that he wasn't caught off guard was an understatement. He did have that gut feeling that something was off, but he didn't pursue it. Luckily though, he was able to react quickly to the surprise attack and brought his arm up to block the on coming attack.

When his attack was blocked, Neji moved quickly to right himself on his branch, moving his hand to grab the handle of his sword and pulling it from it's sheath. He swung the weapon around, balancing himself out and holding the weapon up defensively.

Shikamaru jumped back slightly, giving the two a bit of room, and pulled out his sword as well bringing his up as well. He wasn't sure who was going to attack first, but he certainly didn't want to fight with a damn kunai.

He knew his hands were his deadliest weapon and he wanted to use them, but he also wanted Shikamaru to suffer for what he had done. He'd lied to him, called him a friend when all he wanted was to just bring him back to this `good` side.

His grip tightened on the weapon before he shifted again and swung out at the other male, wasting no time in aiming for a vital part of the body; Shikamaru's neck.

Shikamaru stared evenly at Neji anticipating his attack. He gripped his sword as well and waited slightly. He moved slightly, just barely dodging the attack aimed for his neck. Thinking quickly he brought his own sword up in hopes that it would also help deflect Neji's a bit better.

Neji glared a bit when their blades met, hands tightening around the hilt as he pushed harder against the weapon. He shifted just barely to counter act the other's movements, tilting the sword a bit to push against Shikamaru's sword in an attempt to knock him off balance.

It'd take more to knock Shikamaru off balance. With his other hand he reached around in his pouch for a Kunai, maybe he could do a little damage or at least have something to swipe at Neji with.

All he need was to push this guy off a little and do the motions for his shadow technique. He pushed his weight a little in hopes that he too would throw Neji a little off balance.
