The brunet was humming absently, a wordless cheerful tune, as he worked on cleaning the arcade windows. Everything just seemed to be working out today. Sure, he had gotten stared at by almost everyone he had run into, but he had expected that. Atem had said that he was acting differently, after all. How differently really didn't matter.

Ed's cries caught his attention, and he glanced over to find where the girl was. It seemed he wasn't the only one who was having an interesting day.

Ed stopped hearing Kaiba humming, "Kaiba-person is in a good mood?" It was the first time that Ed had entered the Arcade since Kaiba had pretty made it clear that she was not welcome to set foot anywhere near the place under ordinary circumstances. Seeing all the flashing games and the noise Ed looked around, "So many games~ Can Edward play?"

"Something like that," Kaiba replied warmly. He wasn't reacting at all to her unusual cadence or her creative use of his name.

"Go ahead. I'll have to transfer some of your funds from your L337POD into tokens if you want to play the machines though," he added, putting down his rags he had been wiping down the windows with and retreating behind the counter at the front.

Edward cheered, pulling the leetpod down from ontop of her Ed. It wasn't like Ed had a shortage on credits since the child never spent them on anything. "How many how many?!? Edward wants to play them all!" If she could spend three days playing a single game of Chess with Hex it was likely that she could keept most of the machines busy so long as the arcade was open. "Kaiba-person will play with Edward?"

The brunet laughed at Ed's excitement. It would take days to properly play all the games in the arcade, but with her activity, she could probably blow through half of them, at least. Then again, he wouldn't exactly endorse the idea of blowing through them quite so quickly.

"I guess you can play however many you can afford and can stand," Kaiba replied with a smile. "But I'm still on the clock, so I can't really play them with you at the moment. Just working on the high scores yesterday morning was probably bad enough."

"High scores?" Ed looked at one of the machines before smiling widely and deciding to start with that one, "One~ two~ three ~ fou~our Ed's gonna score mo~re." Ed handed over the leet pod for some of her credits to be transfered to tokens excited. She began looking for a place that she would be able to plub in her goggles looking all over the machine and inspecting it.

The brunet snorted and shook his head. "You'll have to try hard to beat all of them. I've pushed them pretty high as it is," he said with a slight smile. Still, he didn't argue once he swiped her L337POD and handed it over with the newly dispensed tokens.

Her attempts to crawl over the machines looking over a plug caught his attention though. "Hey, can I help you find something?" he asked, a little concerned. "The machines are all working, I just checked them."

"Edward's goggles where do they go?" If left to her own devices Ed would have likely wound up wiring something together to where she would have been able to use them. But with Kaiba there she would likely have to relay on the old fashioned method.
