Who: Cissnei and Tifa Lockhart Where: Forest => Town When: March Fourth What: Bringing in the new people. From her own world this time, even. Warnings: Turks and AVALANCHE have never really mixed well.
Tifa wasn't worried. She was confident in her abilities, and if some random...thing tried to attack her, they'd get a few broken bones and a bunch of bruises for their trouble!
She closed the PHS-device and dropped it into a pocket, clenching her fists. This "Cissnei" had advised her to stay put, and subliminally Tifa knew that was a good idea when one was lost, but she said she was a Turk! The only Turks around these days were Tseng, Elena, Reno and Rude.
Well, unless Rufus has been doing some recruiting and we just missed it, she thought with a grimace. Have to check on that when I get home. ...if, that is. But her train of thought was disrupted by a noise ahead and she tensed for a brawl, but then she heard a voice calling her name.
The call was not missed, and the former Turk headed in that direction, soon spotting Tifa. Yes, much as she remembered the other...But she was obviously new here, with memory wiped.
Or, maybe, she had never been here in the first place.
Walking up to the other, making sure to lower her Shuriken to her side, the redhead allowed a small smile to cross her face, greeting the other with a nod. "There you are." She was glad to of found the other so quickly- New people tended to be very disoriented. "I'm Cissnei, we spoke over the LP's." She said as way of introducing herself. For a Turk, the other didn't look much older that Tifa herself.
"I'll take you into the town and explain things on the way, alright?"
Although Tifa tensed - drawn weapons were never a good sign, especially when dealing with Turks - she relaxed a bit after Cissnei's offer, taken a bit aback at the sight of the other. Huh, she'd have never guessed that one was a Turk. She didn't know they came so...small. But Cissnei was holding that weapon as if she knew how to use it, so Tifa lowered her hands and nodded. Really, what choice did she have?
"All right," she answered, taking a few steps forward. Then she added, "And take me to Marlene, please. I heard her over the PHS and I need to see her." To make sure she's all right and find out of I'm still dreaming or just losing my marbles...
Good, she hadn't completely scared off Tifa, it would of been rather time consuming to call someone else out here to convince her that she wasn't lying about this, and for that Cissnei was grateful. The woman turned to lead the way just a step or so ahead of Tifa, down the not quite familiar path back toward the new home. It wasn't so bad that she need consult the map, but the change was jarring for all of them.
Hopefully they would not be here much longer.
"Marlene Wallace?" She questioned. "I've met her a few times, but not in the last day or so. I'll see if I can find out where she stays." The redhead pulled the L337pod out of her pocket and put it through the motions of finding the requested information, making sure to keep half an eye on their surroundings as well.
"This place, as I'm sure you've been told by now, is Salkia. We aren't quite sure how we got here, or who has brought us here, but we've been working on a way out." Not with much progress, but she kept that to herself.
"She said she's in a house somewhere," Tifa supplied as she followed along, wondering what sorts of trouble Marlene would be keen to get herself into if left alone for too long.
She listened intently, wondering if she really was losing her sanity and if someone would come by to wake her up from this nightmare. But suppose it's not a dream, Tifa...what then? Honestly, she didn't know. But she did know she'd go crazy if it wasn't.
"Salkia... And we have no idea where it's located? Or how to get back, even?" Well, no, Cissnei had said that much. Crap. This was really gonna suck.
"We've been searching." She replied, but kept the fact that it had been nearly a year to herself for now. This was enough strangeness to pile on a person for now. "But so far have come up with nothing, unfortunately. I'm hoping that will change." With, possibly, the detonator that rested in the inner pocket of her jacket.
A glance at the L337POD put them on the right course one more time, and the new town was starting to loom up from the distance. Not as impressive as Midgar, but considering how the last one looked...
Cissnei snorted, then shook her head. "We will find a way out, I've promised people such."
