"You're tired already? We've only been at it for three hours," Suzaku pointed out. That was only enough time for four rides and that was because they were lucky about getting in line for the first one. They were going around the back of Big Thunder, following people who seemed to know a way around the crowded streets.

"Maybe we can go eat lunch. And then we can see what's on the other side."

"The hotel's so far from here. We're better off just waiting to dry. Or buy new clothes," Suzaku said, pointing at the brightly-colored t-shirts that hung in the windows every so often. He gave an easy nod to Lelouch's suggestion and then looked ahead.

"Hey! We should try that!" he declared as he saw something, grabbed Lelouch's hand and started dragging him along like a bumbling kite.

"It'll be fun. And the line's super short. We should be able to get on it immediately if we make it quickly," Suzaku said. The cups looked like they went around very fast. Spinning should dry them off.

"Alright," Suzaku said as the line started moving. They were herded beyond the gate and Suzaku pulled Lelouch into a ridiculously sized red tea cup sitting on a saucer. He noted the wheel in the middle of the cramped setup and remembered just how bad Lelouch was with physical tasks.

"I'll do the spinning if you want. And you can just sit and relax."

"Very well. I shall spin us around, Your Highness," Suzaku said teasingly and cautiously gave the wheel a turn once the ride went into motion. The young children around him squealed joyously and he could hear a group of teenagers yelling for everyone to pull as hard as they could. Disneyland was certainly carefree....

"It is, isn't it? We might go fast enough to even dry off," Suzaku grinned, giving the wheel a harder tug, sending the cup into a faster and tighter spin. He laughed, clearly having the time of his life. It was so rare that he expressed such happiness around anyone.

Suzaku concentrated on his task with great intensity. Faster and faster they went, the wind whipping around them and whistling in their ears. People whispered to themselves just how fast the cup seemed to be moving but Suzaku didn't hear any of it.

Faster and faster and faster....

Knightmare pilots seemed to have a natural penchant for speed and Suzaku was determined to not let go of that thrill that came with his efforts.

The ride came to a standstill as the ride's operator used the emergency stop button and it took Suzaku a few seconds to realize just what had happened. Lelouch had been a blur which suddenly vanished. And now he was no longer sitting in front of him.

He looked to where people were conversing loudly and he gasped. Just what had he done? He knew that he was strong and the other was light but he never imagined it would mean he'd be able to physically fling Lelouch from the cup from just spinning it...

"Lelouch!" he cried out as he tumbled out of the cup to run over.

"Are you alright?!"

"What happened here?!" a park security guard demanded as he blocked off Suzaku's path. "I just saw this young man fly into a tree."

"He was the one spinning the cup!" a kid announced, pointing at Suzaku and getting all the other children to chime in noisily.
