Jin, thankfully had his laptop transporting with him...whenever they were. So this was the game he has played earlier... Of course he had watched the matches before and after him, but it wasn't as excited as seeing it up close like this. To most, sitting where he was... was just to observe. But he was half looking at the match (but completely paying attention) and directing the other half of his attention to his laptop. Learning more about this "Duel Monsters"? Sure, Jin was interested. It would be nice and a change of pace than the snooze fest that was Salkia Island. A hacker needed to be doing something, not idling.

Hatori was a little curious as to what had made the game so popular, he had seen several other card games that were similar that kids had often played in school. On more than one occasion being part of the student council they had been part of the discipline procedure back when Hatori, Ayame and Shigure were in high school. In all reality for the most part Hatori couldn't tell you who was from the island and who was part of the city save for maybe three people, otherwise he was clueless as to who was who.
