Xigbar had just brought the cat home from the pet shop in town and was letting him do his own thing before he was going to head out to get Byte (as he decided to name it) the things he needed to, well, live in the apartment. Who knew where Byte was in the apartment right now. Xigbar knew one thing he forgot to get him-- which was a bell to put around his neck.

Figuring Saix discovered the cat, Xigbar got up from his bed and opened the door. "Yeah, what?" He asked, seemingly unaffected by his roommate's booming voice. Xigbar stopped a moment to see Saix sneezing, and arched an eyebrow. "...You need a tissue? They're right over there." He nudged towards the kitchen.

An icy glare was the only reply for a moment, until Saix held up the sheet of paper, now decorated with Xigbar's wonderful commentary. Rubbing his nose, he let the paper flutter back to the desktop and arched an eyebrow.

"Care to expand, hm?"

OOOhh.. it was the NOTE Saix was wailing about. Xigbar laughed a bit. "Hey, thought you should get my two cents-- who knew when we'd be here at the same time. I had running around to do today. Giant turkeys and all." He rubbed the back of his neck before folding his arms across his chest. "Its not like I doodled in your bedroom walls or something." He looked at him with his good eye. "And here I thought you were mad about something else."

Golden eyes narrowed just the slightest. Saix remained silent until he sat down, folded his arms in his long sleeves and speared Two with that unswerving gaze.

But just the hint of a smirk tipped the corner of his mouth as he inquired in a deadly silky voice, "Should I have another reason to be upset, Xigbar? Or do you wish to discuss this in a more...civilized manner?"

Saix's glare really had little effect on Xigbar, and he grinned at him. "Nah, no reason to be upset. So what do we have to discuss?" Xigbar's good eye glanced over to see Saix's bedroom door creek open for a split second... the grey cat walking out. "Oh, that's where he was." Xigbar commented, seeing the cat approach Saix's leg and rub against it.

Another sneeze boomed and Saix blinked, wondering just why this suddenly started! A glance down confirmed it. He froze, then suddenly snarled to see a damned cat rubbing against his ankle! Of the nerve-!

He shot up from the chair and leveled a kick that launched the poor gray animal half way across the room before whirling around and roaring at Xigbar.

"A cat!? Are you mad?!? I will not tolerate a blasted feline in here, Xigbar, do you hear me?"

Unperturbed by most things Saix was, but he was violently allergic to cats and their hair, which was guaranteed to make him even more of a cranky Nobody than he usually was.

Xigbar's eye widened. Yeah.. ah... maybe he should've seen that one coming. This was about the time that he bursted out laughing. "Holy sh-HAHAHA! Oh MAN, BLUE!" Now it was the Freeshooter's time to keel over.. but it was in his bout of laughter. "HAHAHA HOLD- FFFF! HOLD ON!" The laughter continued for a moment before Xigbar stood upright. "Never thought I'd see you flip out over something so small. Relax, its harmless." It hadn't quite clicked yet that Saix was allergic. He glanced over to see the cat hiss and bound off to some other untold place in the apartment.

The thud Saix's fist made connecting with Xigbar's temple was delicious, as was the pain that rocketed up the Diviner's arm from such a blow. A snap and a snarl followed, coupled with the threat of more impending violence.

"Silence your miserable tongue, Xigbar!" Saix demanded in that frigid, evil voice. "Your audacity makes you forget your place!"

The Berserker was rising, rippled just under the tenuous hold of that fragile calm. Seven seethed, trembling with barely suppressed rage; all it needed was one more severance.

Upon getting sucker punched on the face, Xigbar summoned out his guns on reflex. His brows narrowed, and clenched his teeth. "My place? Please, you freaked out over a KITTEN, Beast Boy." He grinned, still, even if he did feel a bit dizzy from the blow. He let one gun disappear to rub his head with one hand. "If I knew you didnt like cats, I would've just got a dog. Figured the 'blasted feline' was the less annoying of the two." He rose a gun up. "Hit me again over something trivial, and I think I'm allowed to over step my bounds, tough guy."

Lunatic, once resting calmly beside Saix's chair, suddenly seemingly just appeared in the Diviner's hand, glowing with an eager white light.

"I'm allergic to cats, Xigbar," Saix ground out from between clenched teeth. "And if you wish to settle this the old fashioned way, I suggest we step outside." A snarl rippled. "Less for me to clean thence."

The heavy claymore swooshed as its master expertly swung it in a sweeping arc. "And I'll do more than hit you, Xigbar, any time I see you toeing the line."

Xigbar had trouble focusing on what else Saix was saying... mostly... because he wanted to bust out laughing over the new information he was given... it was taking all his concentration NOT to start laughing again ( ... )

Saix snorted, lowering the claymore at the show of submission, however contrived it might be. Such didn't concern him.

"Next time, ask," he snapped, then sneezed again. Straightening, rubbing his itchy nose, Saix frowned harder, then snorted at Xigbar's offer.

"Yes," he rasped, "you will. It will be disinfected from ceiling to floor, and if that animal dares set paw on this side of the house, it...will...die."

Done chastising for the moment, the irritable Diviner once more took seat at his desk and tapped sharp nails against the arm of his chair. He cocked an eyebrow at his compatriot. "Do you now. Hn, that amazes me, truly."

Xigbar smirked. "Yeah, well, you might wanna ask Vexen for some allergy pills till I clean up the mess." He sat down on the chair nearby. "I'll take pop shots at it if it tries." Too bad too, he thought the critter was kinda cute. But, cest la vie, right?

Arching an eyebrow right back at Saix's last statement, he scoffed. Leave it to Saix to overlook a joke. "Well don't be too surprised. I like peace as much as the next guy." he leaned back. "As much as I like setting off the powder keg that's your temper, I rather we get along." Which, surprisingly enough, wasn't difficult if you put effort and appease the drama queen from time to time.

Saix just vented an unamused grunt. Tapping one finger to the sheet of paper, he then picked it up and scanned it again, still a bit out of countenance about Xigbar's little annotations.

"Your...opinions...interest me, Xigbar," he began, dropping the sheet again. "Elaborate a bit more on these." Saix gestured to the "potentials" listing.

Xigbar rose an eyebrow. "What about 'em? Cissnei, was it? Been keeping an eye on her, and she seems to be the kind to have a heart worth taking. If we're starting with anyone, I think we should start with her first-- its not as obvious as going after the Princesses first, and the Keyblade Master doesnt know her well enough to interfere. She has friends... and they will be a big problem, IF they find out we are behind stealing her heart." He nodded, crossing his arms across his chest. "Oh, and yeah, you do have pretty handwriting. Its like a girl wrote it. Fancy."

"Hn, true, I suppose. But if we do target her, there will be much retribution, for the girl seems to be in the thick of things here. Let's not bite off more than we can chew at this early stage."

Saix leaned back in his chair and took a sip of cooling coffee. "I'd thought of enlisting another prone to darkness in the endeavor, but he seems to be ruled by the young girl's orders alone. A shame, that. The Heartless follow him, indicating his powerful darkness. Another quandary to be considered."

Ignoring Xigbar's latter quip - Saix had a thought he'd be ignoring a lot from now on - he mused quietly, staring at the wall for a moment.

"What of Roxas? And Axel? Give me your thoughts, Xigbar."
