Who: Kurosaki Ichigo and Zack Fair
What: Comparing swords, recruiting for patrolling
When: November 23rd, midday

Ichigo had been patrolling for a couple for a couple of hours now, and of course there wasn't anything going on. On days like these he almost regretting wanting to do this, just out of the sheer boredom, but he knew that that didn't matter.
Of course while patrolling, Ichigo had been keeping an eye out for Kouya as well. He tried not to show it to Rukia, or anyone for that matter, but he really was starting to get very concerned. If he didn't find any signs of the girl soon, he was going to have to try to locate her by her spirit thread. That could be a task on it's own, there seemed to be a lot of newcomers to the island on top of the already decent population. That meant more unfamiliar spirit threads to fish through, and her's alone was foreign to him on it's own. It was MUCH harder to find those of people he didn't know, let alone those with small reiatsus.
The orange haired teen sighed heavily and gave a final glance around the area before taking his large sword down to mark an X into the dirt so he would know he'd cleared this area. He then put the sword back and started off towards the mountains. This time however he walked, there seemed to be a lack in monsters and really he was sick of rushing. Besides, he was currently the only one patrolling since Kakashi still hadn't contacted him with news on Sai or the other guy who was a mercenary (or whatever he had said the guy was).
