Ichigo had definitely wanted to say goodnight to Rukia, so before climbing in to his little bed on the floor in the living room, he wandered down the hallway to knock on her door lightly.

"Rukia...?"

She opened her eyes and saw heard the boy's call. Her feet guided her to the door to open it. "Ichigo. Are you all ready for bed?"

The boy gave a small nod and looked up at her with a rather shy gaze.

"Yeah. I just wanted to say goodnight to you before I got tucked in."
