Who: Kuchiki Rukia, Kurosaki Ichigo, Hyuuga Neji What: Rukia proves to Ichigo exactly WHY he shouldn't spar. When: October 19th at noon Where: The clearing in the forest Warnings: Violence, blood, people gettin' MESSED up.
He arrived at the clearing only a few minutes after Ichigo, adjusting the hood of his jacket and tucking the hand back into his pocket. Even though they were still on the island, it was starting to feel a little cooler for some reason and he found that rather strange, but he didn't complain.
When he caught sight of the younger male, he smiled lightly and brought his hand up, removing the hood and shaking his hair free, both hands lowering to slip into the pockets of his black, skinny jeans instead.
``Ichigo,`` he greeted, moving up and sitting next to him on the log.
"Ah...Neji." Ichigo nodded in his direction, offering that obviously fake smile. He turned his gaze back to the ocean, staying silent for now. This match with Rukia already had an eerie intensity to it, and he realized that it had been a long time since he had to bust his ass to win. Neji was admirably strong, but Rukia was the same as Ichigo. Not only that, but he'd only really witnessed her fighting seriously a couple of times and he wasn't sure what to expect from the older Shinigami.
The brunet tilted his head, watching Ichigo look at him from the corner of his eye. He could tell that the smile was fake, but he wasn't going to say anything about it. Really, he could understand how Ichigo felt, fighting with someone he cared about so much. He was curious though. ``Nervous?`` he asked quietly.
Ichigo didn't so as sure as he'd wanted to and he knit his brows a little harder. He set his elbow on his knee and placed his chin in his palm, keeping his dark gaze trained on the ocean.

``Alright.`` He shrugged his shoulders as if it were nothing, though he was sure he knew the truth to his question before he had even asked it.
