Tea Time~

Who: Alice and Yamato
What: Alice and Yamato are having a tea party.
Where: Alice's apartment.
When: Backdated to yesterday, 10/13, probably sometime around early afternoon?
Warnings: Toxic donuts and massive amounts of cute from Alice most likely, lol.

Alice had prepared everything she could think of at the dining table. She had prepared her best tea and some of her favorite pastries. Nothing heavy of course, you didn't serve heavy or greasy foods at a tea party for two. A large party was a different story entirely. And Alice endeavored to try and remember what should and shouldn't be done for it all. She had to make sure she knew, a Lady could never insult her guest with lack of knowledge in such an area. When Yamato wanted to come over to tea, Alice wanted to make sure everything was beautiful. The older woman seemed to be going through some rough times as much as Alice could understand

Yamato grinned down at her little hostess. "Hey Alice. I brought some donuts, hope that's okay." She held up the basket for the girl to see.

Alice curtsied in greeting and then blinked at the donuts. She tried to figure out what they were. Well dough, that one was easy, and nuts was easy as well. So then... a doughnut... was it dough made out of nuts? Dough with nuts in it? But why would Miss Nakano bring her uncooked dough? Did she want to cook them together? But one wasn't supposed to cook at a tea party. Was Miss Nakano mistaking a tea party for baking day? Baking day was tomorrow. Alice was quite sure she hadn't even told Miss Nakano of the baking day. Had Miss Kohane or Mr. Lelouch told her about it? Alice didn't mind that Miss Nakano was joining them for the baking day but she couldn't understand why the dough was being brought to her house now. Dough didn't need to sit out all day to let the yeast rise

Watch out Alice! They are toxic! ...She tried though.

Yamato raised an eyebrow. Alice didn't know? Though Yamato had to admit the girl was a bit quirky and odder things had happened here than someone not knowing what donuts were. Perhaps Alice didn't have them in her world? That was certainly not a place Yamato cared to be.

"Those are donuts," Yamato tried to explain, though she really didn't know how to describe donuts to someone who had no idea what they were. "They're a type of pastry... Kind of...They come in all different types of styles and flavors. Most are really good, though..." She looked around, "This was my first try at making them, so they aren't as good as most."

Alice would say it's the trying that counts.... as she dies from food poisoning

Alice took one of the rings out of the basket and gazed at it before looking up at Yamato with a bright smile. She didn't have to bring any food and yet she had tried her hand at baking this just for her and the tea party. The thought was very sweet of her. Alice told her thus.

"Thank you very much Miss Nakano! This is wonderfully kind of you!" she giggled. "Please do come in!" she stood to the side for Yamato, the basket on her arm. She would plate the treats once Yamato was situated. "I do hope you are well?" she asked like a proper hostess should.

Well... like... 1 and a half are good? lol

Yamato resumed grinning at the little girl.

"Nah, I wanted to learn how to make them," she said with a shrug, entering the apartment. She looked around. Tidy, of course, what else would be expected of Alice?

"I'm okay," she said, and it wasn't a complete lie, perhaps? Of course it hurt, but the new kitten had cheered Yamato up, as had the attempt at making donuts, however messy it had turned out. "How about you?"
