Running her hands through her short hair, Akito tried to fight back her tears. Why had she been brought here? Why were there no other Sohmas present? And what was Salkia exactly? She had no idea why it had chosen her. Did the island realize that it had taken her away from her family a very turbulent time?

Shivering as the waves gently rolled onto the shore, she tugged her robe closer around her. Help was coming, at least. She wasn't entirely sure should be able to stomach whoever was coming for her, but she didn't have much of a choice, did she?

Glancing from one end of the beach to the other, Akito finally spotted a figure moving towards her. Standing up slowly, she ensured her robe was covering her chest. Despite being in a foreign place, she was not ready for the world to know that she was...well...a she.

Usagi spotted someone in robes and figured it was Akito. She could hear the waves softly breaking along the sore line putting the blonde at ease. The sounds of the ocean were always relaxing. She moved closer to Akito until she was only a few feet away.

"Sorry for making you wait for so long, but its great to meet you in person Akito-chan," Usagi chirped. bowing at the waist. Looking over the girl (or boy? Usagi was never good at telling one gender from another unless it was that obvious) she sensed some of the anxiety Akito was feeling. If she could she would hug the other but she didn't want to scare them off by being too friendly.

A pout came across her face seeing Akito hold her robes so close to her. "If you're cold you should've told me. I would've brought a jacket or blanket for you."

She frowned at the introductory words. Did this girl have no manners? Clenching her hands at her sides, she reminded herself that Usagi did not know of her status within the Sohma family. She probably hadn't even heard of the Sohma family.

How irritating.

"It's fine." Akito said tersely, turning to face the girl, "I thought it would be more important for me to get to the town. I can handle being a little cold."

Which was a lie. Her body was as weak as ever.

The blonde didn't mean to be disrespectful in anyway. Nor did she want to make Akito upset. She was just...overly friendly and polite to a certain extent. Usagi didn't see the other clenching their hands but did take notice of the tone of their voice.

She blinked her blue eyes looking concern. How had she manage to offend someone in less than two minutes? "Of course, but I wouldn't want you to catch a cold. The town's not that far and along the way we can get hot cocoa if you like."
