Flying towards my freedom... )
Still, they were pretty.
Sitting in his apartment, Yamamoto couldn't help but inspect them a little. He was pretty sure nothing had changed with his actual body, but where had the wings come from?
Reply
"Stupid wings." He sat perched near a tree, his book out.
But his wings were bothering him so much. GAH.
So he just sat there--ignoring the annoyance that radiated from his back--his wings.
Oh, how he wished he could tear them off this moment.

He'd forgotten he was hungry. Fiddling around on his LP, in an attempt to distract himself wasn't really working anymore. At the very least, Yamamoto mused, at least he knew this device had a GPS installed.
Still, it seemed to be a GPS only for the island--Yamamoto couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at that. That little boy had said something about the possibility of them either being dead or kidnapped--now that he thought about it, it wasn't too improbable.
But if this was death...
Yamamoto looked kind of annoyed as his wings kept on straining at the windows.
"What the heck?"
No, no--there was no way Yamamoto was going to do that. Yamamoto had lived through a lot of near death incidents--he was not going to provoke one and get Dad angry at him for suicide, no matter how much he wanted to feel the breeze of the air current on his fac--
Yamamoto concentrated on his stomach. Ah, he was really hungry...

There was a sound coming out of the window. There was. Hibari yawned and looked up, his eyes focused on the window a few floors above--and saw a head sticking out. Hey, wasn't that...Yamamoto Takeshi over there...just now? He glared at--what used to be there--Yamamoto and sighed. "Hey, you."
His glare was still there.

Yamamoto blinked, before he looked up. "Ah. Hibari."
He paused for a while, staring. "How'd you get into that tree? You don't seem the type to climb onto them--I kind of figured you'd be the type of person who slept under them, really."
His stomach growled again and Yamamoto laughed with a silly grin. "Hey, this is good timing--know a place where we can eat? I'll treat you."
Reply
Hibari glared at the other, his book still in hand. "I flew up here." That was a simple answer, but it got to the point fast. "I do what I want, usually."
He sighed as he heard the growl from the other's stomach. "There is a restaurant near by. It has cultural food." He narrowed his eyes and sighed again. "Do you have money?"
Reply
"No, not really. I can't find my wallet, to be honest." Yamamoto mused, but he did remember what he had seen on his LP. "Hey, Hibari," He said, looking down at the device in question--"Give me some of your amazing, profound wisdom: How much do you think 1000 Monies can get? I'm thinking of maybe invite Mini along--oh, and maybe we could invite the younger Hibari as well." He thought about it. "Maybe Sakura-san'll be cheered up a bit if she comes."
Reply
Hibari's eyes went wide and squinted at Yamamoto. No money? How was he going to treat him if he had no money at all? Oh, he thought, he's got monies. That was good. Well, he would help pay whatever he had eaten, he thought, maybe to help out the carefree idiot. He smirked at the idea.
"1000 monies can probably get you about a few meals." He shurgged. "A few decent meals, at least."

'I wonder if you really can fly.' Yamamoto stared doubtfully at his wings, who seemed to have their own agenda and were as still and as innocently trustworthy as could be. Of course, when they weren't urging him to throw himself out the window and die a horrible suicide.
Sighing, Yamamoto turned back to the GPS. "So what's the restaurant's name?"
Reply
However, there was a state of voice brushing past him--that sounded like Yamamoto. Was he speaking? He would not know--since he was reading. He turned to look at the other, his eyebrow cocked up. "Of course your wings can fly," he started, he felt a bit awkward saying so, though. "They're made to fly."
"The restaurant's name? Succulent Sushi."
Reply
"...Succulent Sushi?" Yamamoto echoed. Had Hibari purposefully chosen this because of Yamamoto's background and was being a nice guy about it, or-? "Sounds like a plan," he grinned, though his grin faltered as his wings started to jerk.
"H-hey, cut that out!" They whapped him in the face. Once more. Hard. Right across. Ow. "I...I'll walk, I think."

They twitched.
And then fell silent.
"Phe--"
Then they began pulling Yamamoto to the door. "H-hey, what's up with these wings?!"
Reply
He smirked, the chuckle escaped his mouth. "Of course they don't like you. You're an idiot."
Reply
The wings stayed silent after that.
"I don't mean it like that," Yamamoto said hurriedly, and then they whapped him once more over the face for good measure--there was a red mark there, and then they just started reacting however they wished. "Well...it seems...we're good?"
WHAP.
"Or maybe not." Yamamoto grumbled as his wings flapped. "Anyway, let's go, Hibari."
The GPS was quite insightful, Yamamoto noticed.
Reply
He started walking first, then his wings begun to take affect, lifted him off the ground.
"Hurry up, Yamamoto Takeshi."
