i hate my tonsils
I've had a faint sore throat since mid last week. I chalked it up to allergies and post nasal issues. I then noticed this weekend that my tonsils looked on the HUGE side. I had my aunt Becky take a look..sure enough..shes like Gina...go to the doctor..they have white spots on them and they arent suppose to be that big
My doc moved to a new building...could NOT get through..could not get through to urgent care at his old office. So i went to the local ER.
Viral tonsilitis unless the strep test comes back positive. The rapid strep came back negative but those can and do come back false negatives. I also had to have blood panel and a mono test. I have been pretty sleepy.
I dont feel too ill either. Though as the day has gone on, i've felt progressively worse. I think i just need a nap. I have a week of steriods and some percs. I also got to call in sick for work for tomorrow night =)
