things about hobbies and junk
Sims: Kind of against my better judgement I decided to start dumping (err, uploading?) my downloads at TSR. Their whole "We own your pixels!" disclaimer is irksome, but really... I don't care. I haven't made anything terribly original or anything. My downloads won't start popping up until the tenth, but you can see some previews at my member page. I'm trying to mix in old and new, but locating the old has been surprisingly difficult.
Reading: I gave The Vampire Diaries another shot and ended up getting pulled in. It was really just a matter of time. It's still weird how completely different Elena is. Katherine as well. The whole Stefan obsession? Wacky. The instalove? Also odd. Seriously, like the first time they have a real conversation she confesses her love. For serious? I've also started working on covers, because the ebooks are separate but the updated covers are for the omnibus editions. Annoying, I don't want super cheesy covers. But combining books causes the second to become one huge chapter. (Or I guess I could go through and renumber the chapters, but that sounds harder.)
Fandom: Session one of Paradox's summer games wrapped and my team won! Yay, go team! I wasn't expecting it at all, so that was a nice surprise to come home to. (I may have done some worrying while on the island about how it was going, and forcing myself to not feel guilty for missing so much of week 3.) But I was pretty active the rest of the time (leaving out my completed jigsaws caps, Team Challenge #2, because of boring), here's the roundup.
