Lost respect for a lot of people in the last two days. It's strange how badly it throws you when a person you expect to act calmly and rationally completely lets you down.
It's not even what was said. It's the fact that people agreed with it.
Nice to know what people think of me.
These are people who should realise it's possible to disagree with someone without insulting them personally. They, of all people, should know better.
And then when I've finally clarified myself, when I've gone through and made it abundantly clear that there was a misinterpretation up front and apologised for any offence my wording may have caused, where are these people?
So not only do they agree with an offensive remark - thus becoming a party to it - they don't even have the inclination to suggest they didn't mean offence by it.
