Lately I haven't been my usual, NPR-informed self. I feel totally out of it. I need to get with the political program.
My FYS class list arrived from Sarah Lawrence. It's looking like
1. Intro to Political Philosophy
2. Mind, Self, and World from Plato to Freud
3. Child and Adolescent Development
4. Empires to Nations: Inventing the Middle East
As thrilling as all the promising academic stimulation is, I'm a little creeped out by the serious bitch-attack an SLC sophomore unleashed on me via the SLC LJ community. So I'm thinking I should watch myself. And I'm thinking I'm a little terrified to start school, if everyone responds to your opinion with such razor-sharp nastiness and condescension.
