Though I always think of salimondo as smelling of a high grassy plain in late August - dry, but not dust-dry... the clean dry smell of summer wheat and tall sweetgrass that has had no rain for a month... this mixed with the faintest scent of honey, from some busy hive just out of sight...
and his color is the tan-gold of the same field...
it's a field that, from a distance, appears to be burnt badly by the sun - and yet, when you walk out into it, you find that it you are surrounded by lush ripeness, and you want to just lay down and be surrounded by it
er, at least, that's how I see him
