Pretencious
Some ppl are just so pretencious. They pretend to know everything, know everyone. I know this person who is absolutely friendly to anyone she meets. She would partake in conversations actively, laugh, and seemed interested in everything and abosulutely everything everyone says, even if she doesn't have a clue about it/them she would nod in agreement. She seems so genuine. However, i recently realised that all this was just a front she put in front of everyone. She claims that she's "acting friendly" only. I was quite shocked at that remark becuase seriously, i thought that she was genuinely friendly. It's just so shocking that people behave so superficially. The best thing of it is that everyone seriously think that she's friendly and nice. Can you believe it?
I have always been on a neutral stance. I won't pretend to be friendly if i don't like someone. However, i will not give a "i hate you" look. i will probably smile but will not try to indulge in conversations. I don't know, that's just me and how i handle things, which probably isn't the best way to go about in this world now. Being friendly to everyone is the way to go. It really doesn't pay to show your true self or emotions. No one appreciates honesty. Seriously.
