Ground Hog Days
Hello again strangers.
While I've been back online for two weeks, I've not had much to report. Sad huh! ;)
I certainly can't compete with weddings and shouting down a rowdy rabble while doing a pub quiz!
Aaanway. Set the same old scene:
I've been living a Ground Hog Day type existence for years now.
Always broke, and always busy doing 100+ projects - none of which I seem to finish (if they get properly started!). I've just slugged it out in the ignorant hope that something, someday, will happen.
So now, I've decided, I've given up work (for a time - and I mean the badly paid office Gopher waste of time/soul destroying work) and I am going to spend a few weeks just getting stuck into doing web/animation stuff - stuff I actually want to do with my life, but have only ever, at best, dabbled with.
Bought myself a monster of an animation stand - 7ft of highly engineered steel tubing, fancy lights etc. Actually been looking for one for years - but struggling to find a place to fit it at the mo! Hey - it's made me smile!
Got the f**king computer back, and as far as I can tell, its working - and I'm installing only web/design/anim software on it.
Now, all I have to do is get cracking...
...so tonight I'm off to go drinking in Whitby!
Then heading to London tomorrow for a bar/restaurant show, where I will fill more than my boots with free samples, before heading off into 'town' for a bit for more!
Gonna have baby sitting type fun and general Easter thingy events this weekend.
Maybe even get some friends around for a drinky-poos and barbie on the Monday.
Oh yeah, work. Doh!
Well, at least I am getting out of Staithes for some of it!
I'll just have to start changing my life next week (hmmm, that sounds familiar!)
