Ugh, I really don't like these dreams at all. This one was pretty bad too, something about a 'taboo child' and a lot of blood.
I'd made up my mind after I woke up, and climbed the tree to find some feathers. The first nest I found way up there had some cute baby birds in it, all fluffy-stripey and staring at me with those huge eyes. I collected a lot of good molted feathers from the nesting material, and I hoped I'd finish before ... okay, well, I messed up. Mama came home.
I climbed into a great horned owl nest. Heheh. oops.
Well, anyway. Mama had a big ol' squirrel in her beak and fed it to her babies. I guess all that flying had her hungry, so she was watching me for a while. I can take care of myself, of course, and I gave her the bread roll I brought with me as a snack if I got stuck in the tree for a while. She kind of left me alone after that, but tried to give me some of the squirrels like I was another of her babies or something.
Either way, I was collecting feathers to make dream catchers for you guys. They catch bad dreams and let the good ones through, and you hang them over your bed. Unfortunately, they'll take me a couple of days to make since they're pretty complex depending on the size. The bigger the better, you know!
...Whoops, mama owl is looking at me and clicking her beak. I guess my writing is a little too loud for her liking! I'm going to head home and start making these. Who wants a dream catcher?
